Even with the crazy things in the family, new job and other things going on, I completed another draft of my thesis and submitted it to my chair.  For those who are not sure what that means, I first had to write a proposal and present it to the thesis committee.  once they say my proposal is good I can conduct research.  Proposal writing took several months and data collection took many months (one person at a time for 30 mins each - all while doing a practicum, TAing, doing other research and taking my own classes).  Once data collection is done, I analyze the data then write up the last part of the paper (more months).  It takes several submissions to the chair and revisions per her instruction before it is good enough to defend.  I am in the last stage of submitting the last revisions to her.  One more is off to her and I feel like doing a big dance!

That is impressive! I am very happy for you. Please let us know when we can call you Dr.Sue. You are a great inspiration to anyone who thinks they can't achieve things because of this illness.
