oh my goodness everything was hurting this morning, way more than usual. i came back to bed with the heating pad so i'm feeling a little better now. but it's so weird how it gets better and then worse again and i have no clue why. i give up trying to figure it out, it just is what it is. all i have to do today is take a shower and wash my hair, which sounds daunting, but i can probably manage it.

hope everyone is having a good day whether the fibro is flaring or not.

beanley, hope your flare passes quickly. Pamper yourself with a long, relaxing soak in a
hot bath. Feel better soon!

I also woke up in a flare, I can barely move. I tried taking a hot shower but that didnt work too well. I think I may have to take some Ibprofen, but I keep trying to put it off for reasons I dont know why. I dont want to take anything too sedating but if it gets any worse I may have no choice but to take something a bit stronger, like a muscle relaxer...Life just isnt fair to us sometimes. I guess the fibro fairy came and beat us up while we where sleeping.

Awe sorry to hear! i woke up... well i didn't get much sleep was in a flare this morning, i hope yours passes fast. I'm of to the shower soon too, looking forward to the smell of tea tree oil. I'm glad i don't have the sedation reaction to muscle relaxers, but they offer little help, it's weird but the pain killers just have never made me groggy!

It must be the day for it. I am starting to flare too. It always starts in my neck and gradually spreads. It has reached my arms and hands now. i can tell tonight is going to be a long one. I think I'll take a hot bath and just try to relax.

IKWYM.

On very few occasions I have been able to say, well this flare is b/c of this or that. Usually, there is no apparent cause.
possible fibro and trigeminal neuralgia
50 mgs amitriptyline

For many of us the season is changing and that is enough for fibro to flare. I know my allergies have been worse too and who knows that might be a good enough reason for fibro.

I spent a few hours Sun holding and playing with my little Chunky Monkey great grandson so I know where my pain is coming from this week. tongue

Hope it passes for everyone soon.

luv and hugs

Bean-

Sorry to hear about your flare this morning...glad to hear you are feeling better. It's always so hard when you wake up to pain. I started taking tramadol again too in hopes that I won't have to take so much percocet.

Hugs....
