Hi fellow fibroids,

I'm Marianne and I am new on the forum. I've had fibro for only 5 years but it came down hard and fast: I have been unemployed for 4 out of those 5 years, with daily and nightly flows of moderate to excruciating pain. Most of you will have this I guess.

If there are people who have tried the Supernutrient products, could you please give me notice of whether it helped you or not and if so, in what way? You may do this in a personal message to me if you prefer. Don't mean to advertise or anything! I just have to hear some real feedback first, since this fibro package costs $219 and I can't just miss that kind of money.

Any other positive experiences are welcome too wink

Thanks very much.

Marianne

You may want to try magnesium/malic acid first. It's not very expensive (less than $10.00/month) and has helped some of us. You can do a search and find a lot of information about it on this forum.

Hi, Marianne, and welcome!  Dagger is correct.  Malic acid/magnesium supplements have helped many on this forum with pain and fatigue...including me!  I also take vitamin D3 supplements too to help with pain and fatigue.  Many people with fibro are deficient in these vitamins and nutrients.

We usually have a thread at the top of the forum called Fibro 101.  We lost is last week when the forum was down and I have been working to get it back together.  There are links in that thread about these vitamins and nutrients and how they work in your body.  Fibro 101 should be back up at the top within a few days so keep looking for it.  There is a lot of information in it.

I'm so glad you found us and joined in.  Don't hesitate to ask more questions because we are here to help you.  Hope to hear more from you soon.

Thanks Dagger and Sherrine!

Started with MSM about a year ago (main components are sulfor and magnesium I think)...
That did NOT help me. At first it seemed like it did, but my complaints soon got worse. I gave up after 3 months.

Had tried magnesium before that, about 3 years ago. Wasn't very helpful for the pain, but I did feel less worn out.

It can be very lonely with all the pain... starting to feel isolated and sometimes a bit desperate again. It goes in waves of weeks or months.
And how relieving it is to share experiences! I have been part of an online fibro community before, I liked it very much, but there were never alot of people online there.

Sherrine, I will check out fibro 101! Sorry to read that long list of conditions and syndromes in your autograph. I already struggle hard with fibro/CFS, I have no idea what it must be like to go through all that. I wish you lots of brightness in your days, in all the little things.

I hope to see you around.

Marianne

Marianne there are so many companies out there selling the magic solution for fibro. Yes, I do believe we need extra vitamins, my D is low also. But believe me when someone comes up with the magic cure for fibro it will be all over the news and we will all know about it. I would save my money if I were you.

luv and hugs

Hi Marianne and welcome! If you haven't already, you might want to get your vitamin D
level checked. Mine was extremely low and my rheumy put me on a prescription vitamin
D, 50,000 IU weekly for six weeks. I now take at least 1000 daily. I also take a good multi
vitamin and try to eat healthy.

Glad you joined us!
