Well, I didn't see a Koffee Klatch, so I decided to post one. I hope that's ok.

Well, let's get started. It's Friday, almost the weekend. After a long week, it's time to kick back, relax, and focus on taking care of ourselves. Here's the question: What do you like to do most on the weekends?

My favorite thing about the weekends is that my husband doesn't have to work. He's here to help me with our son, so I can get a real chance to relax. I really like when we all go out together and do something as a family. This Sunday, we are going to my grandma's house (we call her Gigi). We are going to have a small birthday party for Alex before Gigi leaves for Florida. (I wish I could go with her.) I think, though, that my favorite thing about the weekends is that if my body lets me, I get to sleep in. I love to sleep in.

Sassy, that sounds like a nice weekend planned. When is Alex's b/d? Is he excited about his Big Day? Give him a kiss and hug from me, I just love little ones!

I also hope you get to sleep in, sounds like a very nice plan indeed. Enjoy your 'family time' w/ all your family.

I look forward to the WE, so my dh and I can spend some time together. He works crazy hrs that make it hard to be together for too long during the wk. We had a very bad scare a couple of wks ago and I'm just so glad to spend another day w/ him. Love him, love him, love him.

Hope you have a great WE. Take it easy.

God bless.  Alice.

Like you Sassy, I like to sleep in. I also like to go to college football games, partly because I get to see my youngest son. Tomorrow, however, I'm afraid is going to be really cold and I don't like cold. Diane

hey Sassy, give Alex a birthday hug for me. He will be three won't he. Enjoy!

On Saturdays, I hang out with the neighbor ladys, while our husbands  go golfing.
We usually do lunch and some shopping, that is always fun.

On Sundays my husband and I go out for brunch and then for a long leisurely drive.
We love to go exploring and discover new places. It is a fun day, we generally get
lost and have a good time finding our way back home.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Weekends at my house vary.

Some weekends my mom's youngest sister comes out Saturday at noon, we'll go out to lunch, then maybe go shopping or to a movie. Sundays we may sit around or we may go do something else.

Other weekends it's just me and my parents and we do nothing but just laze about.

And then sometimes we'll actually go somewhere, like this Saturday we're going down to meet my aunt and uncle and go to lunch then we're going off to do stuff.

So weekends here change around lol, but it's fun. Though my favorite part is if we're not doing anything then I don't have to be up early, and if the puppy starts whining that he wants out of his kennel then my parents will let him out so i can sleep, since he doesn't ever want to be in there past 9:30 or so lol.

Thanks so much, Sassy for doing this! I wrote up the Koffee Klatch last night, I remember the topic even. I have no idea where it went except I had several long emails to get out last night and I'll bet I forgot to hit 'Submit' before I turned my puter off. Sheesh!!! What a dufus!

Sorry,

We have a 4-day this weekend, but that's not doing me any good, since my body likes to wake up early these days ... usually 5 am!
It is nice to have the hubby home though. He's warm, and I am always freezing.
So far this weekend, we have gone shopping (we picked up a cool bookcase where the front set of shelves slides back and forth and a neat end table that looks like a pile of LARGE books), I've been lectured on spending too much money ... but I want our house to look nice, and we bought Milk Tea to send to friends/family so they can taste a little Japan.
Later this weekend I have a Chick Date (craft night) planned as well as we are going to see Osore-zan, where I am supposed to pick up an evil spirit and go back later to return it. We also should go grocery shopping.

My favorite things to do on the weekend: sleep in as long as possible to make up for the work week. Catch up on letter writing. Call all my sisters to talk about our weeks. Take a nap. Drink lots of tea. Sometimes have a facial/ pampering session (facial mask, eyebrow neatening, etc.). Roll around with my dogs and cat, as much as possible. Read. Write. Work on crafts. Cook big meals for just me and the BF. Eat the big meals. :) Work on crafts. Go to bed really late Sunday night to make sure I feel like my weekend was full enough.

Thanks, Sassy - good job!
