Finally got the computer back! yay! This is just turning out to not be my month.  luckily ended up finding a deal and got my computer fixed for $37!! can't beat that, if any of you are having any computer problems I would take it to staples they are running half off deals.

Well I am home today, I went to the clinic at school yesterday to see about a new med.  They put me on Flexeril.  I have horrible medicine anxiety, i know ridiculous.  So I was all worked up and eventually convinced myself to take half of it.  So not only was I already feeling crappy the 4 hours of anxiety only made me worse.  The med didn't do crap :/ all that working up for nothing.  I got about 4 hours of sleep last night and feel even worse today.  So I am just relaxing and plan to just stick with the Trazadone.  At least I sleep with that and I don't feel like crap until 1 :/ I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.  Can't I just catch a break?
Pain is temporary.  It might last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year but eventually it subsides and something else will take its place.  If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

Welcome back!  I know I go crazy when my computer isn't working correctly.  Actually, that's why I never posted on your other thread...my modem bit the dust!

I set aside about 8 1/2 hours for sleep a night.  I know this may sound crazy, but I have found that if I sleep too much, I need even more sleep.  I've been that way since a child.  It could just be me.  But, I do have a sleep schedule and go to bed around the same time every night and get up around the same time every morning.  The body becomes accustomed to that and then, when you lie down, you can get to sleep usually.  Also, don't use your bed to eat, read, etc.  Also, avoid caffeine after around 5 PM.  That will keep you from sleeping, too.

Here is a Mayo Clinic link to ten tips to help you sleep.  Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the tips! I usually have no trouble at all sleeping I am thinking it was the flexeril.  I haven't had a problem with sleep in years.  It was so bizare, but hopefully going back to the trazadone tonight will make things better.

Sherrine, I don't mean to step on your toes, just thought I'd add this. Caffeine for me..I am hypersensitive to it, so I cannot drink it after 1 or 2p, otherwise it affects my sleep at night. I know that sounds ridiculous, but believe me, it is true. I just wanted to add that for Starynight, just to be careful.

I've also heard, forget now where I heard or read it, that it is not a good idea to cut Flexeril, something about the way it gets absorbed. You might want to talk to your doc about how much to take. I know you said it didn't help, but it might have been because you cut it. Just a thought.

take good care

You are right, Miriam.  Everyone is different but I don't know too many people that hypersensitive to it.  But, if a person is, they definitely should do as you suggested or, better yet, don't have things with caffeine in them!

I wasn't sure if you could cut it either so I asked my pharmasist and she actually cut the pills for me.  I am not sure though maybe it wasn't enough and that is why i didn't sleep? I am not sure
