I tripped and fell over a dumb little doll table and chairs.  I didn't see it on the floor and went flying.   I have already had extra hip pain lately and this made it worse.  I am thinking of seeing my dr about the hip pain, but I don't know what he can do for me.  I also need to make an appt to get a tens unit.  But I am waiting because budget cuts may eliminate or cut back my job.  I will find out this week.   No need to ask for time off to see the doc if my hours are cut or my job is eliminated.  So I guess I will wait and see.  In the meantime, getting important stuff done so they see how much they need me and keep me around part time.  Part time would be nice for awhile.
hmmm, no real topic to this post - just a bunch of thoughts . . .

So sorry, Sue.  My biggest issue is hip pain and it takes nothing to get it roaring.  I went into a thrift store the other day and there was a box of Christmas ornaments on the floor where the cashier was.  Did not see them...didn't expect a box of anything to be where people are checking out.  I tripped over it and didn't know if I could walk up the stairs to get out of there.  HMMM.
Burning, aching hip pain.  Too bad we need our hips to walk!

I remember once coming out of an art store, the lady had once over charged me so I was looking at the receipt. Well there were two cement steps coming out of the building. Wham, I landed on both knees, have had bad knees ever since. And they intstantly turned black. I was so embarrassed. But she didn't over charge me. lol...

Take it easy now for a few days. Stretch that hip. The best that you can without making it worse. I hope that you feel better soon.

Hugs, Karen

Sorry Sue, hope you're feeling better soon. Will say a prayer your job is not eliminated.

Thanks. I expected to find out this week. There's still tomorrow . . .

I cannot reach my doctor or my physical therapist because they are both gone. My doc comes back tomorrow, but the PT does not come back for a whole month. I hope she is ok. I wish I could talk to the doc right now. I've been fighting burning neck pain and headaches all week along with the extra hip pain. I keep going to work every day, but I would like to stay home. But being in bed makes me even more stiff and sore from the fall. Hope this passes soon!!!

I hope everything turns out well. I trip over everything and nothing but I usually manage to stay on my feet. I think the years of yoga have helped my balance a lot. Now if I can just remember to use pot holders.
