I practice holding my neck against the back of the seat. I have trouble watching tv cuz my couch iis high & puffy & pushes my head forward. I change positions a lot. I make sure my neck is straight if I'm on my side.
I habe andykilotis spondylitis (sp?) & spinal stenosis of the cervical & lumbar spine. I'm 27 & I already have a larhe "hump" where my neck & spine join. In the past year it has become 2 close together. My fibro is bad, but this is the main source of my pain. It is a constant battle, esp in addition to fibro for instance: I do not drive long distances. My husband has noticed how much even an hour drive hurts me. I cannot do repetitive motions like painting, mopping, vacuuming. I also absolutely cannot have a desk job. I did that for four years and it made the degeneration progress much faster.
