I woke up not too long ago, and I started walking, and my right leg started screaming in pain. It's still killing me right now. I feel like I am constantly being stabbed over and over and over in my leg. It hurts to walk on it, it hurts not to walk on it. I don't know what to do. This is not a normal pain for me. I know how I feel every morning. Yes, I am a little stiff in the mornings, but once I get up for a few, it goes away. This is not going away. It's been hurting like crazy for a half an hour. I don't know what to do about it, but I just want to scream it hurts so bad! cry

Hi Sassy, Is the pain running down your leg, starting from your buttocks? If the pain feels
sharp, stabbing or burning, it could be Sciatica. Have you had any trouble with your lower
back? You might have nerve impingement. I know it is very painful.

Give your doctor a call. Because it is your right leg, you won't be able to drive. I know you
have Alex to watch so you probably can't lay down. Anti- inflammatory meds help and ice.

When my Sciatica flares up my doc gives me Mobic ( Meloxicam) and muscle relaxers.

Don't wait to call your doc, if it is Sciatica it can get worse.

Hope you find some pain relief,Sassy

Hugs

Is your leg swollen or red??? We tend to blame all pain on fibro but sometimes if we suddenly start having pain that is not normal we need to have it checked out. Hope it goes away soon Sassy.

The pain went away after a little while, but my hip throbbed all day, and then my leg just didn't feel very strong, but then it hit again tonight. My husband gave me two muscle relaxers and he very very gently rubbed my leg and it started to feel better. I can still feel it kind of "tingling", but there isn't any outright pain right now. I don't know what to do. I don't know if it is something serious or just something I should just mention the next time I see my doctor. I guess I'll see if it happens again when I wake up in the morning.
