We have had a big storm heading are way that finally hit today and supposed to be with us most of the week.  Good Lord do I hurt.  I feel like someone took a baseball bat to me multiple times.  I am sitting at my desk in SOOO much pain, and that is after taking 1/2 Percoset, and a muscle relaxer.  I took the meds about 1 1/2 hours ago, and didn't even touch the pain.

I started Vitamin D3, 2400 units a day about 2-3 months ago and it helped so much with my Fibro.  But I guess rain, undoes all the benefit, cause my Fibro is raising its ugly head.

Just venting to folks who I know really do understand!

Gentle Hugs

Sorry you are hurting. I do understand, there seems to be a group of us flaring right now.
My flare is also weather related. Sending you gentle hugs and hoping you find relief soon!

Nanners, I'm sorry you are hurting so much.  Weather changes...especially big storms....do that to me, too.  When I hurt like that, I try to keep in mind that it's temporary.  That does help me keep going.

Keep stretching and moving, though.  You don't want to stiffen up even more!  I hope you are feeling better soon.

Other than the seriously nasty flare I had after the flu, I haven't had any major ones
in nearly 4 months. I get small ones every so often but can usually head them off with
an exxtra dose of Super Cissus and True Calm. Thank God for the plants he put on
earth as they work so much better than any dr. drugs I've had.

Hope you feel better. I know the fronts still affect my arthritis.

Well the first of two big storms has passed and let me tell you I feel alot better today. I can't believe how much pain I was in yesterday. At least I've got two days to recover before the next storms hits. Thanks so much for your concern and kind thoughts!

P.S. Funny thing is the little parts that still hurt a little today. Bottom of right foot, and my left shoulder. Wierd, huh?

So glad you are feeling better today! Enjoy it while you can. My ups and downs are also affected by the weather, last week was no that great for me. We are supposed to get a storm tomorrow, I can see the skys starting to look threatening already, but so far so good pain wise.

I'm glad your feeling better for now Nanners. We are all weird, no wonder anyone that doesn't have fibro can't understand it. Our bodies can be engulfed by pain within a matter of minutes and it can go away the same way.

luv and hugs

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Does Vitamin D3 really work? My Suboxone helps with some of the pain, but not all of it, and I am still all the time and my muscles are tense. I take my muscle relaxers when I have back spasms. I would like to try other things that can help. But I know that too much of any kind of vitamin can have bad affects instead of good ones.

Nanners,

I have al ot of problems with my left shoulder too. That is where it all started. I had surgery on it and that helped some, but they moved a lot of my nerves around and it is wierd. I can itch in the back and have to scratch in the front. lol...

I hope that you feel beter soon. I am in the same boat. We haev some nasty weather moving in too and I am in a lot of pain.

Take care,

Hugs, Karen

Sassy,

For me at least, the addition of the Vitamin D3 has been wonderful. Now I also have Crohns and osteoarthritis, but the Vitamin D3 has helped my Fibro immensley. I read up on it and decided to give it a try and was amazed about a month later. I thought to myself, gee I haven't had the burning Fibro pain in awhile. Give it a try can't hurt, my hubby even started it, and got some relief. He doesn't have Fibro, but he is a weight lifter, so it helps him with sore muscles.

Karen,

I cannot figure out why my foot hurts, no rhyme or reason with this one. My shoulder I think because I was tensed up yesterday from the pain, and this is the lingering leftovers, who knows. I am just SOOOO happy that yesterday's pain has eased up. I hadn't had a Fibro flare like that in awhile, and this one was BAD! Hope your weather passes quickly and you are feeling better soon. Sending gentle hugs your way.

Thanks everyone else for your kind thoughts. I will definetly enjoy it while I can, by Thursday it will be back I fear:(

Hugs

Sassy, I have to concur about the D3. I started it about a month or six weeks ago and the difference in daily pain levels is remarkably lowered. I think it might even have improved my sleep quality. I also am starting to try the malic acid/magnesium again today to see if my stomach can take it better this time around, so I've got high hopes.
