I don't use those medications for my fibro. I use ibuprofen with food, extra strength Tylenol, malic acid/magnesium supplements and vitamin D3 to help with my pain. These take the edge off for me and I don't have all the possible side affects.
If you haven't already, check out the Fibor 101 thread...the second thread on the forum. You will fine info about the malic acid/magnesium supplements and the vitamin D3. Also, you will find good stretching exercises. You do need to keep moving and stretching with fibro or you will be stiff as a board and the pain will be worse.
Also, start doing something you like or read a book or watch a movie...anything to get your mind off the pain. It does fade in the background some when you do this.
