Koffee Klatch is a gathering of people who visit while enjoying 'Koffee'?..lol Or whatever beverage you prefer. Today it's spiced cider for me...sugar free~ If you are new to the forums or have just never joined in...please do. We'd love to have your comments and thoughts on the topics each day, or on the days you find them interesting to you. Sooo....

Is it comfort or fashion that rules your choice in clothing?? I was bundled up today to go outside in the 17* weather. It have on a heavy coat with a thick hood pulled over my head. When at the beach in winter I bundle in two coats with an outer one that acts like a wind breaker. Then on go the farm boots...those rubber kind that stop just below the knee. A scarf around the neck and mittens to match that a special friend made for me. Then I'm set for whatever the weather throws my way. Beautiful???...I'm sure I look like giant size kid in a snow suit and boots but personally I don't much care. I'm more interested in comfort and keeping warm. But other people find how they look to be more important. Which kind are you? A fashion bug or a comfort kind of person?

Fashion, I think I have forgotten the meaning of the word. Maybe it is our age but I could care less what people think of me anymore. I have to go out today and I'm not looking the least bit forward to it. I will have my long johns on and I wear a fleece jacket under my coat, scarf, gloves and heavy boots. I will warm the car up in the garage so it's not like I'm going to be out in the cold much but one minute is too long for me.

luv and hugs

Fashion?????  What's that?  I am strictly about comfort and right now warmth.  I don't care what I "look" like anymore.  Most days if I can just wake up, shower and make it to work I'm thankful.  I do the bare minimum on hair and make up too.  If it's a day where I'm not getting out I forget the make up all together.  Long gone are the days where I wouldn't even step out to the mail box without make up and hair done........

It is all about comfort! If I can find comfy fashionable clothes all the better, but I pick
comfort first.

I normally go for comfort. I have one outfit that is both comfortable and fashionable, so that is nice. But normally comfort rules my choice in clothing. Tight clothes hurt me, so I normally go for looser clothes.

Comfort definately. I have camo winter boots made by Herman's Survivors, my
cargo pants as I refuse to carry a purse, and my brand new JC Penny fleece lined
hoodie that is so warm. I did break down and picked up a pair of gloves for shoveling.
Right now it's a balmy 52 degrees in my house.....me bundled up in my Pirates of
the Carribean fuzzy blanket.

I used to be sooooo fashionable, right down to my high heeled boots and chilly leather jacket!

I am all about the comfort now. BUT, and this is my major but, I do think it is easy to be fashionable AND comfortable. At home, I look like heck. :) But if I have to go out for an occasion (other than grocery shopping), I still have fashionable knee-high boots; now they have 1/2" flat heels and are very stylish. There are really nice fabrics out there like "travel knits" and such that allow for comfort while still looking good. All my work clothes are travel knit and stretchy to some degree.

for me its comfort and style....i agree with littleneck... at work its jeans and a red work shirt.. but when i not at work i try to look fashionable but comfortable.. i won't give up my heels yet.. but i think i will have to go to a 3" instead of a 4 soon.. i try to stay with trends but its not easy right now.. with just getting through the work day. i don't even put make up on right now.. or do my hair although i do make sure its neat. i haven't even got my nails done in forever.. they are neat but are in need a little tlc..

i am definitely a comfort girl right now though i am bundled up in my sweat pants and tshirt and my fiancee's hoodie.... thinking about going out in this lovely -15C weather southern ontario is getting right now. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
