Hello my fellow fibromites, I'm in a need to vent. Some of you  know I also have MCTD.
My right forearm has a "dent" in it from Scleroderma tissue atrophy and I also have
Lupus lesions. This morning I awoke to find I have a "dent" in my right side of my nose
and it is quite noticeable. If I am going to suffer tissue atrophy, why can't it be on my
tummy? I could lose some tissue there!

More than likely my rheumy will want to up my Methotrexate dosage and it is scary med
to be on, potentially has lots of scary side effects. I would rather deal with this after
the holidays! Too much stress, and I have been trying to practice what I preach!!!

I might have to buy a putty knife for my makeup bag! Thanks for letting me vent.

Oh, Robin, I'm so sorry.  It is frustrating when you do everything you can to maintain your health but it still does things like this.  I know you want to wait but I would call the doctor and at least let them know what is happening.

Sometimes it's hard to keep your head above water but you are doing a wonderful job.  We all have to vent and all have bad times, even if we are positive thinkers.  That's life and we all understand that here on this forum.  So, vent away!  Most importantly....feel better.  I want  you to have a magnificent Christmas.

Thanks, Sue but I have think I have the specialists stumped, all they know is it is
part of unpredictable MCTD. No two cases are alike!

Sherrine , Thank you! You always pick me up and I do appreciate it. smilewinkgrin
