I make this great carrot salad, it's kinda sweet, I think it's the best. Funny though out of my four kids, only one of them likes it. hmmm. last year's Thanksgiving, I took some at my sil home, she called a few days later and wanted the recepie. I love it. going to make it for Christmas with my Ham.

Well, I really love my mom's homemade crescent rolls, but she isn't going to make them this year. My New Year's resolution is to stop eating so many Hawaiian sweet rolls. I am going to go on a diet and lose 20 lbs. Everyone says I look great, but my self-esteem suck, and I hate all my belly flab and love handles. I didn't used to have that, and I HATE having it now.

shoeless..your casserole sounds yummy....my carrot salad, I buy a bag of carrots(its cheaper) then I shred(not sure if right word), with peeler in bowl, add shreded pineapple only(no juice), rasins, mayonise, mix all in bowl, refrigerate. taste really good ith turkey or ham. and cheap too.

last week I seen a carrot salad at a reastaurant, I thought oooh, I'm going to try it, no way did it taste like mine, lol. I'm thinking of maybe adding pecan or walnuts to it this year. mmm can't wait.

Hope you try it, let me know if u do.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone

Salad, casseroles, ham, yummmmm.

We just baked a butt portion ham, yes, bone and all.  It was so good, I will eat on it for days.  That breakfast casserole sounds good, could put it together the night before and pop in the oven the next morning.  All this food talk, we have been making a lot of peanut butter cookies lately.  I buy them in a package at Walmart for 1.50 each.  All you add is the egg and some oil.  So easy!!!

I got a Christmas ham from work, we just had one.  And bought a quarter beef that is in the freezer, I will be eating well for a while.  Nothing better.

That carrot salad sounds good, what about Waldorf salad, with the nuts it would taste like that, add some apples and there you go!!!

You all have a good night, all this talk about food makes me want another peanut butter cookie.

Hugs, Karen
