so if this is cut short sorry im at pt so have lil time. But the short of it is. Told my dr im one of those lucky few who goes psycho on lyrica and shes taking me off it but said theres nothing else she can do for me med wise just pool therapy. Wth? how do i make her realize i need some extra help sometimes? im so discouraged :( **update** She did end up calling in or is suppose to (havent checked back w pharm yet) call in tramadol so hopefully i will get some relief. I can take 1 or 2 pills once daily as of right now. So crossing fingers

well as of right now since i brought it up i know shes calling something in for me. But not sure what im really hoping its not the lyrica to 'taper' off from cus i cant afford just a few pills and at that pills that make me seriously psycho! :( i hate that being bipolar puts me at a predisposition for the stupid mental changes side effects! I couldnt take chantix the 2nd time cus of it couldnt take straterra for my add cause it caused mania boo lol. I had some good laughs tho at myself today with my pt so that was good :0)

The only meds I take for Fibro are Lyrica (It helps me sleep, but that's all) Nortriptyline, and Prozac. I've taken every non and narcotic pain medication and none of them do me any good. So I just have constant pain. Diane

Also I've had this for 25 years.
Fibromyalgia since 1984, Sjogren's, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Auto-immune eczema, GERD, osteoarthritis, IBS, RLS, sleep apnea

i will agree with u that lyrica did help me sleep somewhat better but i seriously cant take it it has been causing aome vser scxart thoughts to opop u whe i fo yake iy  or iat some point :( But now im on 1/2 a pill once a day of tramadol. For now. But stupid freakin firbo had me so confused reading her directions on my patient online thingy for my meds that i thought it said 1 or 2 oops lol. thankfully i read the bottle but i thought she put it down wrong so i took a full one but its only 50 mgs so thankfully it shouldnt be too bad. so far ive been laying down so idk if its really helped i do know laying on my left side my darn rib feels so bruised and just plain painful. So i dont do that to much lol ;) i think i was gonna say sumthin else too??? but i didnt think prozac was common for fibro? i was put on it at age 14 for other issues and lets just say that 2 week period didnt end the best!
