Anyone ever get so tired you can't move, as in you cant even open your eyes?

I thought I knew what it was to be tired, I'll get back to back migraines and afterwards I'd be exhausted. At times I'd have to roll myself out of bed and literally crawl to the bathroom. I'd be so tired I wouldnt WANT to move but I could make myself. If in the midst of a migraine up to lvl 9 right before I pass out I could still get out some words or make gestures to let someone know hey HELP!

I had my son come in a check on me several times during a bad episode and I knew I needed to get up and bathe I was drenched from sweat and it was making me so cold it was like I had someone putting cold IV's straight into my arms and legs. And there was a lot of pain. But I couldnt move not even a finger, couldnt say anything, and couldnt even open my eyes. I could somewhat understand it because I was in a really bad way. But I've also had this happen after a bad spell when I'm really not feeling all that bad I'll just lay down to rest and then I just cant get up cant talk cant like I mentioned open my eyes. When it happens I'm also the opposite of anxious, what the right word would be I'm not sure but I am in no way shape or form concerned at the time. I'm just very very tired and feel heavily drugged even though I havent taken anything. When using heavily drugged as a description it's the best that I can come up with to descibe it but doesnt quite encompass the feeling because I've been heavily drugged before and it's beyond that feeling just the best I could come up with to describe it.

Just kind of wondering does anyone else ever feel that tired? Does anyone else ever feel that much of a lack of concern? While I'm not concerned at the time I sometimes worry about it afterwards particularly when it coincides with a bad episode where I probably should have sought medical assistance (after a seizure). After it passes and I think clearly I then seem to feel euphoric (like there is absolutely nothing wrong with me) even though I still might have a lot of things going wrong. (ex. I triggered a migraine still couldnt talk, couldnt get off the floor, trembled like crazy, but I recognized it as a migraine and therefore normal to me and just pointed at myself and made an ok sign).

Umm read back over this and not sure if it makes sense kind of an off day but just wanted to know if anyone has odd things like that?

I do not get migraines but my daughter does and they totally immobilize her, too.  Also, you could be having silent migraines.  I have had a few of those.  For me, I get the lightening flashes in my vision but no headache.  So perhaps you are having a migraine with no headache.  I do know that if it were happening to me, I'd be talking to my doctor about it and be thoroughly checked out.  It's not good to assume you know what is going on.  I do pray that these will stop happening to you.  It has to be horrible!

I get occular migraines from time to time, they are very unnerving.  I see patterns in my eyes, go from one side of my pereferal (sp) vision to the other.  It takes about 30 minutes for them to go away.  Then they leave me with a wierd feeling in my head.  But only got an actual migraine headache one time.  It was horrible.  So I feel for you.

I hope that you get a grip on this.  I have heard to avoid the three "C's".  Caffiene, chocolate and cheese.  I love them all.

I hope that you feel better soon.

Hugs, Karen

Sorry I think I mispoke what I was trying to say. I meant to use the migraine as an example of the kind of tired I'm used to. Like I can make myself at least move in some fashion with the tired I get from a migraine the tired I get now is beyond that I literally cant move, cant talk, cant even open my eyes. If it coincides with other serious problems or pain I can kind of understand because I get some weird symptoms and I do have silent migraines. But after 14 years of 5 to 10 migraines a month along with chronic headaches I can honestly say I never experienced this degree of tired. And it does not always coincide with bad symptoms or pain. I didnt know this degree of tired honestly existed. I'm currrently seeing a dr. but have yet to have a diagnosis one of the things they are looking at is Fibro (currently my blood work shows a degenerative problem so they arent sure and are waiting for my vitamin D lvls to increase to see if that is throwing everything off or if its something else) . I know this isnt from migraines. (it has a totally different feel which I really cant quite put into words other than to say its a lot worse than what I've ever experienced from migraines or drugs.) I was wondering if people with Fibro have this and could be the cause.

Best I can put is I'm so tired and weak I cant speak, move, open my eyes and it doesnt concern me at all at the time that I cant do any of those things. Hopefully this makes a little more sense my mind is pretty off today so please excuse me if it doesnt.

Deme, I would run that by my doc to get his opinion. I have gotten so exhausted all I could do was lay there reminding myself to breathe but I could respond to someone if they talked to me. I haven't been that tired since going gluten free to get the small intestine healed from celiac and getting more nutrients in my system.

luv and hugs
