I know this is posted a little late, but I just now noticed that there wasn't a Koffee Klatch posted for today. So, I have a simple question: What are you going to do to celebrate the beginning of a new year?

I can't drink because of my meds, so I won't be drinking. My hubby will probably have a Crown and Coke. I am up late anyways, so I hope to see the ball drop. It really just depends on what the hubby wants to do, I suppose, but it has been a really really long time since I have watched the ball drop, so I would like to do that. I have a son, so there really isn't a whole lot I can do. I can't have or go to any parties. It's not like I can drink anyways, so it really wouldn't be much of a party for me. LOL.

I thought this would be an appropriate topic for today's Koffee Klatch.

Well, I really wanted to go out because it's my first NYE being 21. But both money and weather is not allowing it. I'm sad. But my fiance bought us champagne, and we're just gonna stay in and celebrate the New Year together. It shall be nice. :)

Oh, and as far as the meds and alcohol go...I just wait for the alcohol to wear off before I take my meds. ;)

I may not do things like other people, but I get things done in my own way, in my own time.

My wife and I spent this evening getting ready for friends and family tomorrow. We have a traditional NYD Brunch. We will have between 12 and 20 Throughout the morning and early afternoon. Much better than a party on NYE. I will still probably excuse myself early to go lie down for a cat nap though.

Cris and I did Martinelli's and a Movie. We stayed in to avoid all the crazy drunks and had ourselves an unscheduled "candlelit" dinner, due to a power outage. We also had our last unhealthy meal before going on a new diet ... kind of like Mardi Gras
