ok my fibro family .... having a hard time over here..been in this flare since what Oct. , does it never end. I am so tired of being tired. so tired of all the different types of pain I am in. .... so I share my poem with you again. cry
I know I must keep moving .and stretching even though it hurts like crazy. but I must. I will not give in to this Disease . But its just soo hard sometimes...eyes
to add to everything my daughter moved home.smhair going through a bad divorce and child custody . had to leave her baby behind as her husband went behind her back.. kept saying he wanted to work things out and she was willing to do this. but was still coming home hoping he would snap out of it and get a job. but he gave her a letter one hour before there flight to come home from a lawyer saying she could no take her baby . what a piece of you know what. ..so my house if turned upside down. my office is in her old bedroom ( as I work from home after the Fibro DX ) so my dinning room is now made into a bedroom.
the stress is to much. I must stop this spinning spiral I'm in. must .. really I'll be ok.. but need to vent a little.

thanks for letting me vent today ..

A Cry In The Night

She wakes in the night and lets out a cry
Did not intend to , but it came right out
Oh Lord help me she cry's
Burning and Throbbing in Pain
Yet again tonight she cry's
She quietly sneaks from the bed
not wanting to wake her husband sleeping at her side
Limping and crying she struggles from the room
Grasping the stair banister with both hands as not to fall.
She struggles down to the living room
Once there she cry's out in the night
Oh Dear God help me , Give me strength she cry's
I can't do this again tonight
The room is dim as she reaches for her candle
Lighting the candle she starts to pray
Its ok Lord , Its you and I now.
I know you'll get me through this night
A Cry In The Night
A flicker from a single candle
She Prays for the pain to ease and sleep to come
She prays for strength
Ready to start the new day

Spirit, Sending you a big gentle hug. Your poem says it all, we have been there. Fibro is a
rollercoaster ride for sure and when you have other stresses in your life it can be overwhelming.
Know and believe that you will feel better again. Praying with you that you feel better and that
your daughter will find peace through her divorce.

I am so sorry for what you are going through. Venting does feel good. We are family and
understand. Take some time for yourself and believe in the future. Today and for always
hope is forecast.

Hugs, Robin

My thoughts and prayers are with you. But do you think it is time to talk to the doc and see about getting some medication for relief. I take adderall for the fatigue and pain meds for the everlasting pain. They don't take it away, but make it bearable. The adderall works wonders.

Best wishes to you.

Hugs, Karen

Thanks all for your support.
it may be time to find a Doc that can help with the Fatigue issue... I have not tried anything like " adderall " yet. but will check into it.. my family doc is thinking its the pain levels that are causing all the fatigue. and I'm sure it does add to it.. still say we re missing something though.
Thanks for the hugs, prayers, support and love you all give so freely .. no wonder I love this site out of all the ones I have been to.
Take care all... its the weekend so I can rest now , my honey just bought me one of those body pillows.. how sweet .hu. I am so Blessed to have him.
have a great weekend .soft Fibro Hugs

Spirit, that is enough to put any mother and grandmother into a flare. I pray this gets resolved quickly for everyone's sake.

I'm a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and there is no way when you have a family to keep all the stress out of your life, life happens, the good and the bad. I have a file on my desktop named God's file where I write down the things I have no control over and leave it in His hands or I would have gone bonkers long ago or more than I am anyway.

luv and hugs

You have a lot of stress on your plate and that will definitely cause the extra pain or flare.  Be sure to start passing out chores for your daughter to do.  You will and could use the help and the work will help her keep her mind off things and help with her stress too.  Don't take on everything.  It's our tendency as Mom's to protect our children and take over when they are "hurt".  I'm sure she is very upset, but so are  you.  So work together and your load will be easier and  your stress could be knocked down a few notches and this could really help your daughter, too.

I hope you start feeling better soon.

Marlee, Sherrine,
Thanks so much for your support.  every body.. smilewinkgrin
She is a good girl and helps out as much as she can, The main thing I asked her to help with or really my husband asked her to do is. keep the kitchen and dishes cleaned up... this is such a big help..
also. my little Dog Chato bear a pug, he had been playing in Grandmas yard and came home acting like he had bugs and needed a bath.. well Guess what I cant do it. last time I gave him a bath I was down in pain with my back for 3 days... my daughter was out with her friends. so I called her and told about Chato... so within 15 min she was home to wash the dog. and then went back out to finish what she was doing with her friends... cool Hu. so ya she is so caring.

. just breaks my heart about the baby, she misses her so much. cry what's bad is a very similar issue happened with me and my daughter many many years ago when I divorced her birth dad.shakehead so its like a nightmare all over again , But I know things will workout in Gods time.

I have been trying to get rid of this lung and sinus thing ,cold flue who knows for months now. we just keep passing it back to each other.
I find though if I just lay down for awhile with the quite or my Fav cowboy shows on. to relax. it helps a lot. also I have started walking the dog again knowing I need to move about more than I have been... its so easy to just stop when you are in so much pain all the time. But I Know I must keep moving . my DH reminds me of this in a very caring way..he really does his best to support me and to understand what I'm going through.

now my daughter is in massage School so has been doing studies on Fibro and CFS and massage.. when I'm real bad she is afraid to massage me for fear of causing more damage. you know. there have been many a night that she will hear me get up and hear my crying. that she comes to just hold me and calm me down. .. Oh gee that just made me cry..
ok  I best stop I'm rambling now I think..
love you all very much .. the support you give and understanding mean so much to me.
praying for good days for all of us. , soft Fibro Hugs turn turn

Your daughter sounds wonderful!  That will be a good help to you.  If she does decide to give you a massage, tell her to give you a gentle massage...not a deep tissue massage.  You would be in a world of hurt most likely.

I use Mucinex if I have lung congestion and it works great.  It loosens everything and I can cough it up.  You might ask your doctor or pharmacist about this and make sure it doesn't interact with meds you are already taking.  It is an over-the-counter product.  Also, walking is wonderful for your lungs.  People get pneumonia in the hospital many times because they are laying down and not active!  If you have an infection the immobility just seems to cause lung problems, at least that's what I have experienced.  So, keep moving.  I know you know that's one of my matras!  smilewinkgrin   I do hope you are feeling better soon.
