You take a shower and it hurts to rub soap on your arms and back.

Next? What do you hate....

I hate that I'm diabetic but have a sweet tooth!  I also hate that I'm legally deaf so I can't go to movies, talk on the phone, and can't hear to play my beloved musical instruments.  It's not fun but I just look at the things I love to do.  That helps me a lot.

I hate feeling overwhelmed by pain and worry. I hate feeling like I'm having more bad days
than good. I hate feeling like I'm losing myself and feeling my illnesses are winning,
I hate bad days like this. I want to be strong!

Don't you just hate it when you have a tantrum? I'm over mine and feeling sane now!

I hate it when I write a long winded e-mail to my friend in Indianapolis and it ends up going to my cousin in Oklahoma because their user names are similar in my AOL address book and I click on the wrong one...the cousin writes back and wants to know what on earth I am talking about...Have to start over again and forget who I was writing to in the first place.  Yes...I hate it when that happens.  I also hate when I stand too close to the wood stove as my butt cheeks are freezing off and I burn the nap off my brand new flannel jammies.  Owie, too.

When a trip to the grocer's makes you need an afternoon nap.

When my 5 year old grandaughter takes a flying leap on me with those bony elbows and knees, ouch.

When my willingness to do things and my body do not agree.

When it hurts for my adorable grand dog to stand on my lap!

Donna, once many years ago I was warming in front of the wall heater (naked after a shower) and bent over and burned heater track marks on my butt!

Deb~~ I so know what you are talking about. The little ones roll and jump and tumble in my lap the the knees, elbows and anything else that sticks out is so painful. And one thing I hate is when one little grandson asks me to come play and says...It's OK, you're not sick, Grandma!" I have no idea where that came from because it's not something I say to him.

I hate disappointing my BF when we have plans to do something together, and we end up not doing it/ cancelling, all because I am sore and feeling weak and fatigued.

Can I go again? I also hate feeling helpless under the fist of pain - I can take whatever pain pills pr supplements but the pain ultimately wins and comes back.

You set your alarm, and then turn it off when it goes off, as you go back to sleep for another hour and a half.
