If it's Sunday morning as you are reading this I am seeing about 500 brides and their 1000 mamas and mom-in-laws at the bridal show I produce. I'm more organized this year with dear daughter living with us. She worked on samples for about 6 hours and I did for about 2 hrs... cake and caramel, raspberry cream and lemon filling... nuts and chocolate... My back is tired and my shoulders are screaming at me... Can't take Darvocet or I won't be able to function at the show. So I"m off to bed and hopefully a good night's sleep.

Trying not to stress too much but I've already got a brand new cold sore... (sigh... ) Sometimes you just can't get there from here. Running the show, even with a partner, is a pain in the patootie when I have to get my booth ready, too. So, wish me luck, say a prayer or at least send good thoughts my way.

Good Luck Jeannie, I'm sure the bridal show will be a success. You have made me hungry,
your cakes sound super yummy. I'm glad you had the help of your daughter. Hoping you
will get the much needed rest after the show. Enjoy, and sending prayers!

Hugs, Robin

I'm sure that the women enjoying the fruits of all of your hard work will not think to thank you today... their eyes are probably full of stars and tears. So I'll do it for them ... THANK YOU Miss Jeannie for your many many long hours of organizing, advertising, planning, brainstorming, phone calls, emails, problem solving, creativity, and everything else that goes into planning such a huge event!!!!!! You will be inspiring and encouraging many people today ... your guidance and hard work will plant seeds in their hearts and minds for the BIGGEST, HAPPIEST, most MAGICAL (and stressful) day of their lives!!!

GOOD WORK LADY!!!! now ... get off the computer, go take the darvocet, and crawl into bed. :)

Congrats to you for doing so much hard work, I am sure that it is going to be a smash!!! Not smashed cake though. lol...

You are such a good role model to all of us. Keep up the great work, from a fellow michiganian. I think that is what we are now.
