I have this problem with swollen bumps and my tongue turning white often. I do have food allergies so this could be due to that, but I am wondering if it is also has to do with the Fibro.  I do not take meds, so it cannot be from that.  I was in a major flare the past week and a half, so maybe it had to do with that.  I have looked it up and know it is nothing to worry about.  It hurts and is bothersome, more than anything.  I guess I was just hoping for some answers.  Thanks and have a great day.

yep! i get that all the time. only on the tip of my tongue. like, 3 or 4 bumps. it's bizarre ... and then i can't quit rubbing my tongue on the backs of my teeth ... cause it feels so weird.

i would not have ever connected it to fibro, but these days, it seems that EVERYTHING weird in my body gets blamed on it. ")

I get little bumps on my tongue, usually the sides of my tongue - the only food I can say for sure does that to me is walnuts, which I usually avoid. The bumps are small but painful, and last usually a day and a night.

My tongue also turns white a lot, and I was told once that I may have an overgrowth of candida. I've never looked into the viability of that but it sounds logical.

yes...get the swollen taste buds and my tongue is sore a lot.  I have had this for years.  I am also prone to canker sores and have been told over and over it's some kind of virus.

I too have this problem! I've always wondered what causes it, and it gets pretty bothersome! If any of you find anything that helps with it, please let me know!
