So, it's Saturday....what are you doing today?? Something fun? Chores that need to be done? Shopping? Resting??? Or maybe you'll just do whatever your mood dictates for the day.

As for me I'm going to start off the morning with a bit of TV...some of the small bit I enjoy because they are public television shows on quilting/sewing. My treat on Saturday mornings once in a while. Grandson hasn't spent the night in a few weeks so he'll be over later on in the day. Otherwise I'm going to be doing some outside puttering with hubby. It's my favorite pastime on the weekends...just spending time with my best friend.
What are you going to be doing today?

I plan to rest up after a busy full week of babysitting my 14 month old granddaughter.  Also, I got some valentine's day fabric and I am going to make some pretty pillows for my granddaughters.  Anna, who is the 14 mo old, likes little pillows to play with and Kelly, the 5 and a half year old, likes to have a valentine's pillow with her name on it.  So, those are my projects for the day.  (Can you believe I'm still working on sewing Christmas presents too.?)  Didn't get them all done. lol.

Oh well, You all know I'm crazy, by now!

God bless and have a wonderful Saturday all!!

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

I need to clean, take all my cardboard boxes from Christmas to the recycling center, and my bags of trash to the landfill. I'm guessing that is about all the "chore" type things I"ll be able to handle, plus grocery shopping. I'll like to fit in a visit with my family and a couple big outdoor playtimes with my dogs - if I can do all that I'll be really happy!

I'm going to work on laundry today. And poor hubby has a cold, so I'll be taking care of him.

Good morning everyone! I am so thankful it's the weekend!

Plan A: 2/3 of my kids have a cold ... so we are going to take it EXTRA easy today. No scurrying to catch up on laundry, dishes, etc. I'll get done what I can ... but my priority is to spoil these kids rotten for the day. :)

Depending on how "Plan A" goes, I may also try to get a few thankful letters written and make some kind of yummy baked thing (not sure what ... probably chocolate!)

We have a rental house that is my husband's old homeplace and the lady that just moved out left it in a terrible shape.
Now instead of cleaning on my own house today I have to go down and clean on the rental property.
I told my dh that we had to be back by three o'clock because KY Wildcats play today and so far they haven't lost a game this season.
Here's hoping they win again today!!!!!

God Bless!

I'm heading in to St. Petersburgh, Florida to see Cirque de la Symphonie.  It's a performance by the unbelievable world renowned acrobatic team Cirque du Soleil and they are performing while the Florida Orchestra is playing symphonic music.  It should be amazing!

Have a great time. That sounds like a ton of fun!!!!

I hope to go and see my baby puppy that was born the other day. I haven't decided for sure if I am going to get her, but think I will. She is a german shepherd. It all depends on how I feel later. Wish me luck.

Hugs, Karen

PS would like to go with Sherrine also. Do you have room for all of us? Or shoudl we meet you there? LOL...

The usual. Cleaning, groceries, and the gym. Tomorrow is football, so I want to get as much done today as humanly possible.

I was a good girl, I did the groceries, paid several bills, did a couple of loads of laundry, gave my puppy his meds, can I pls go out and play w/ my friends?? I want to play w/ the new puppy and then go see the acrobats. I want to do something fun. I had to let my inner whiney child out for a moment. Sorry.

I hope you all have a glorious day wherever you spend it. And pls share the joy tomorrow, we all need that bright spot.

I am finished w/ my break, it is back to the salt mines for me, I hear the laundry calling me so seductively. I really need sleep. lol.

God bless.  Alice.

Ah, Sherrine--sounds like fun.  And Marlee--sounds like a nap is a good idea!

As for me, I finally got my FIL moved, so today I'll be going thru several bags of "stuff" I cleaned out of his apt to keep, throw away or whatever.  I already have started my laundry, will do a little cleaning but mostly will "play" with my genealogy on my computer.
Everyone have a good day.

I went to see Avatar at the IMAX. It was great in 3-D but the IMAX is even more impressive. It's my 3rd time seeing the movie and
I would love to go again and again. It is just soooooo good. Then we went to my favorite haunted diner and "Quincy" was there.
It's good to see he still haunts the diner as it's been a while since I've been there. I just got home, it's 7:30 my time so I'm just
kicking back for a couple before I hit the hay to get up for work early in the morn.
