Do you prefer to drink coffee or tea?...or something else to drink during the day??? Most of us have a preference for something warm and cold to drink. What's yours??

I go for a long time with one thing then change to something totally different for a few months or years, then just keep this up. Currently if I want a warm beverage I have an instant French Vanilla Cafe' or hot spice cider (sugar free). The cider is great warm also. As for the cold I rarely drink carbonated beverages any more but once in a while a diet orange crush is good, milk with supper and water otherwise. With hubby, 18 year old grandson and myself we can go through a lot of milk in one week. smhair

What's your beverage(s) of choice?

Hot tea - black, green, red, white, or herbal. I only have one cup with caffeine/day then it's caffeine free.

I also drink room temperature filtered water and occasionally, seltzer water.

I like coffee, both fully leaded & decaf. Fully leaded seems to make my pain level worse sometimes, so I try to limit it to just when I'm working (3rd shift) or one day during the week at home. Otherwise, hot tea (usually red tea, rooibos root) , but I also like to warm up cranberry apple juice & put some cinnamon in it. For cold, I like Diet Rite Cola and Diet Rite Cherry Cola.

isn't ANYBODY gonna say WINE??!?! lol

ok ok .. really .. i am addicted to coke ... trying to give it up ... but some days it is such a carrot in front of the horse ....

hey, i don't smoke, drink, gamble, to drugs, shop, or have crazy sex, bungee jump or drive race cars. My only vice is Coke. it's my vice. it doesn't hurt anybody or make me dangerous. I know it's not good for me. but it makes me happy.

when oldest son was in kindergarten we went to the first PTA night .. they had a pizza party for new families. i was carrying paper plates of pizza to the table and asked Adam to get drinks from the 'drink table'. The lady serving had cups filled with tea, lemonade, and about 4 kinds of soda. He asked for lemonade. She asked what his mommy wanted and listed them. He said "Oh, no thanks. Nothing for my mom then, she has a COKE problem." (meaning, if i drink soda, it's only coke .. and they had PEPSI ... but of course he didn't explain that!!!) I was not asked to do anything on the PTA for 3 years ... maybe they misunderstood that he meant COCA COLA!!!!!!! LOL

seriously though, I drink OJ in the morning, skim milk in the day and at supper, and as little water as humanly possible .. but I'm working on that.

in the morning, I NEED coffee. Only need one cup .. but it needs to be a good one ... and I put MOLASSES in it, along with a little milk. Good IRON there ... and it's a yummy sweetner!

water, lemonade, juice, or milk for cold

hot chocolate or cider for hot

I don't care for tea, and I don't understand how ANYONE can put something that tastes like coffee in their mouths! :D

I usually have a couple of glasses of ice cold water for breakfast. I like a cup of tea around 10:30 am, I can only drink herbal or decaf. I have a can of Pepsi for lunch and a really large glass of water w/ my dinner. I also have a bottle of water w/ me at all times, in the house or out. I like a cup of mint cocoa when I feel cold or blah, usually in the evening. I like OJ, but I don't drink it much anymore, maybe a glass 3x a month. I love the smell of coffee, can't stand to drink it.

I am a coffee drinker. But use 2/3 regular and 1/3 decaff. It has lowered my blood pressure. And I don't get that wired feeling.

For cold, I go to the store and get a fountain Pepsi. It usually lasts me all day long.

Very seldom, I drink a beer or a glass of wine. But that is very very seldom. I use to drink on a regular basis, never got drunk though. But lost my taste for alcohol.

I hope taht you all have a great day. Good topic Chutzie.

Hugs, Karen

I use to love to have a Starbuck's Chai Tea Latte in the morning on my way to work, but they have closed our local Starbuck's and that habit was too expensive anyway.  I have been making Twinning's brand Chai Tea in the morning with honey and a bit of low fat Lactaid and it is sooo delicious.  In the afternoon I have a 7Up and the remainder of the day/night I push as much water as possible.  I also like iced tea and will have that to drink if we happen to go out to eat and make it occasionally at home.

I have been on a mocha cappuccino kick this winter (caffeine and sugar free made with skimmed milk) with whip cream on top, I need the Vit D in the milk. devil

Don't feel bad do-over I'm addicted to diet coke or pepsi, whichever is on sale for the week. I'd switch to Pepsi it sounds better if your children are going to tell their teachers. smilewinkgrin

I am also suffering from a diet cola addiction. Coke or pepsi- doesn't matter. My kids actually call it "mom fuel". Yikes! I'm also a fan of hot tea. I used to LOVE to have a beer with dinner, but with the enbrel and methotrexate those days are over. *sigh*

I'm kinda like Chutz, I go for a while with one thing then after a while, I go heavy on something else.  I have to have my cup of coffee with a little milk every morning.  Sometimes if it is a "foggy" day, I'll have another 1/2 cup in the early afternoon.  But I'm mainly a tea drinker.  I like Earl Grey and Stash has two wonderful green teas I like called Morrocean Mint and another called Ginger-Peach.

I'm not  much of a soda drinker but once in awhile I'll have a Hansen's Natural Key Lime Twist.  I don't drink milk but I like hot chocolate in the evening sometimes.  And after my bath I always need plain water.  If I'm having a bad nite, not sleeping I will always get some water to sip as I read my book.  It seems to soothe my system.
Good topic Chutz.

One very hot, black cup of coffee first thing in the morning...water all day long and then another cup of coffee when I get out of
work. A cup of straight lipton tea at night and more water. On rare occasions a frozen Sprite or ice milk in the summer.

Being from the south, I have a really bad habit of sweet iced tea.
At school they keep it made in the lunch room all day for the teachers.
So winter or summer I sip on sweet iced tea all day long.  I know it's not really good for me, but I love it.

God Bless!

Decaf coffee with sugar and cream(hubby got me a keurig for Christmas), iced tea & lemonade.. I'm pretty bad about hydration. Sometimes I forget to drink for hours after my morning coffee. I like diet coke or pepsi once in a while, but given the choice between soda or iced tea, I'll take iced tea.
