Since I'm a 3rd shifter & I'm up right now, I figured since it's technically very early Tuesday morning I'd go ahead & get this thread started for today.
 
So, what was your exercise for today ?
 
I don't know what I'll do yet. Tuesdays are usually more of a relaxing day for me after coming off of a long weekend (Sat-Mon) working. So, I'll probably just do some yoga or something. I'll post back later today when I've been awake a bit. turn

i danced with a room full of 4 year olds for about 30 minutes. does that count? (it sure wore me out!) :)

seriously ... after I get this other 'issue' straightened out ... I plan to get back on the stationary bike in the mornings. That seems mild, but is one of the only things I can do that gets my heart rate up without killing my knees.

You're inspiring me!

Whatever you can do is what you can do, sweetie. A stationary bike is nothing to sneeze at. Heck, if all you did was 5 minutes on that to warm up & 5 minutes of stretching that's still an accomplishment. It gets the blood flowing, loosens things up, makes it easier to move around a bit.

Dancing with 4 year olds, honey, that COUNTS for SURE ! LOL (((huggles)))

I will do my normal stretching this morning. I have noticed that I am having to get up earlier in the day. Can't lay in bed as my back hurts. I think it is due to taking time off from work.

Normally I try to get a walk in every day. That really helps me. And I do some made up exercises and I do dance by myself too. I must be a sight. lol...

This is a wonderful thread, keeps us going.

Hi,

Am having a rough day today and when I saw the thread I thought just do what you can do. I get very down on myself when I cannot do what my brain thinks it can do. Must work on this and take my own advice which is to be grateful and happy for what you can do.

As for today will do my yoga and stretching for sure. Have to walk this "POODLA" too.

Thanks for getting me going.

Today I walked 1.4 miles on my treadmill, did some stretching and some specific strengthening exercises given to me by my chiropractor. I'm kind of proud of myself that I got that all done already since it usually is spread out over the day. I have appointments this after afternoon so it was kind of do it now or don't get it done. If truth be told I would prefer the "don't get it done" but I want to be able to be truthful with my chiro when he asks if I have been doing the exercises. I think that accountability helps keep me going. Lisa

Getting ready to head to the gym for some cardio, and then some water aerobics. I love my heated pool!!

I've done gentle stretching this morning and plan on getting a walk this afternoon. Too cold
today to walk outside so I'll be one of those mall walkers!

This morning a 2 mile walk with my golden, then some stretching and a few yoga poses.  We just bought an elliptical machine so this afternoon I will do about 30 minutes on it then some more stretching.  I always try to do 2 different things everyday, then stretching.  It really makes me feel so much better.
