Thimerosal is a mercury containing preservative that is in vaccines. It has been used since the 1930's. I have had many, many vaccines in my 62 years and have never had a problem. Some have said that it possibly could cause autism but the most recent studies say now that there really is no link. Unfortunately, some people believe that and are not immunizing their children. I have a relative in that boat right now.
Fibromyalgia has been around at least as long as written history. When I was diagnosed, it was called fibrositis. It's been called rheumatism, neuralgia, myalgia, and even hysteria and hypochondria! They weren't giving vaccines back then but fibro was still out there. So, I wouldn't be alarmed. The vaccinations have saved many lives.
As Nanners said, I'm not sure if it's in B12 shots or not. I suppose they need a preservative too but I know I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
