I think that I had a flare Thur and Fri and part of Sat.  Now my right leg hurts badly.  Goes from the hip down the leg, into the knee down the shin and into my feet.  It feels somewhat numb and achy/tingly.  Does this sound like Fibro?  The rest of my body doesn't ache unless you touch it such as my elbow or wrist.  Can you have pain in one area such as one leg?  I have been trying to ignore it but cannot.  I have a call into my rhumatologist but wanted some answers quickly.
Thanks, Lisa

I have had that on and off for months.  It's worse when I lay down. or sit, and it keeps me awake at night.  My starts in my butt cheek, goes into my hip down my thigh and into my knee.  If is really bad, down the rest of my leg into my foot.  I haven't even mentioned it to my doctor but I have a NP friend who says it sounds like sciatica.

sounds like fibro, i have a majority of my pain in my legs and it get really bad sometimes, i was actually in the ER a couple week for it, the best thing to do is to keep walking and don't sit on your legs, also hot bathes are to die for when your legs are bothering you!

I have this all the time and mine is Sciatica. Sure hurts like crazy and the only thing that helps is a warm bath...for me anyway.

Sounds like Sciatica to me too, especially if it's only one leg. I have had exercises to help relieve it. You lie on your back on the floor and gently pull your knee to your chest and hold it for a count of five... do ten at a time several times during the day. It's supposed to take the pressure off your sciatic nerve. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not but it's worth a try, and try not to sit too long at a time and sleep with a pillow between your knees. Hope this helps :)

I'm going through this right now, too. It goes from my hip to the top of my foot. I fell last year flat on my back, everything
hit from my shoulders to my ankles. The siatica has gotten worse but I cannot understand why it would effect the top of my foot
and the front of my leg. I know the dang bakers cyst is swollen up pretty bad as I have been shoveling for the better part of
2 days. This morning 3 feet of wet heavy stuff in the driveway.
Anyway....there is a new hemopathic at the local Rite Aid that I want to check into. The True Calm works with the muscle spasms
but don't seem to touch the siatic. I'll let you know how it works.
