Hi everyone, just got back last night. My two week visit went by quick. It was great
to spend time with my family. My Dad is really fighting the fight for his life. He is such
a great inspiration to me. I was able to spend alot of quality time with him and I'm
thankful for that. I was able get all the photos and music selected for the DVD. My Dad
wants to see it before he dies. It was emotionally overwhelming getting it together.

My 17 month old grandaughter really kept me busy. I had plenty of excercise. One
morning she came in to wake me up. She watched me struggle to get out of bed,
and said "Grammy's broken", I started laughing.

I have been reading posts trying to catch up. Welcome to all the newbies!
And for all of you going through tough times right now, I'm sending gentle hugs!!!

Hugs, Robin

Welcome back, Robin!  I'm so glad you were able to accomplish what you went there for.  Hopefully your father got strength from your visit and you will be able to be together again...this time just to totally enjoy each other.

That is adorable what your granddaughter said!  Children are priceless, aren't they?

I love what your granddaughter said. And often we sure feel that way, broken. She must be something special.

I hope that you are feeling well, sorry for what you are going through. Know that we are all here to support you.

Hugs, Karen

I'm glad you had a good trip. I think your granddaughter is very intuitive. That's just the way I feel, some parts are broken but I'm still usable. smilewinkgrin
