Ok, so it's Friday. The weekend is here. If you could do anything, anything at all, what would you do this weekend??

If I could do anything and money being no option and there being no health issues, I would love to spend a weekend in Indianapolis at a really nice hotel with a spa. It would just be me and my hubby. We have never had a honeymoon. It would be like a short honeymoon, away from all the stress and responsibilities of life. Just the two of us spending a romantic, relaxing weekend together. Our son would stay with my mom and have a great time, so we wouldn't have to worry about him while we were gone.

Just two days huh, can't we make it a long weekend??? smilewinkgrin I so need to get away for a lot longer than a weekend but since that is all your giving me, I would catch the first plane going somewhere warm, guess that wouldn't be Fl this weekend, I would lay in the sun that wouldn't be too warm for me but just perfect and sip non-alcoholic drinks with little umbrellas in them. Oh yeah, I would take DH with me but he will stay inside and watch TV and sleep all weekend. Since money is no object my whole house inside would be painted for me while we are away from colors of my choice and it would be cleaned from one end to the other. I would have to hire a nanny to come along to watch the girls while I bask in the sun. They would be too lonely with out their mommy if I left them behind.

It's nice to be able to dream.

Personally, if I had a weekend free I would go both days to the IMAX in Rochester, NY to see AVATAR again. I've only
seen it 4 times and one in IMAX. Totally mindblowing. I think this is my most fav movie ever.

I would love to go snowboarding. I used to ski ages ago when I lived in the Northeast and enjoyed it a lot but I always had trouble controlling both skis. I figure I'd do better with one snowboard.

My family says I should just skip the skis and roll down the mountain since that's what ends up happening anyway. If you ever see a large snowball rolling down a mountain laughing as loud as can be, that would be me.

Oh Sassy....you have such a tempting idea here!! I'm trying to let my mind go free and do something different and creative. For my dream weekend I would love to have a weekend somewhere with hubby and no one could find or contact us for anything! May sound strange to some people but it makes perfect sense in this head. I guess I would probably go to the same place...the beach and turn off the cell phones...although we rarely get calls there and the kids know better...lol

Thanks for the free trip, sweetie~ and give Alex a hug from Gr'ma Chutzie!

I've read everyone's post this morning and I'm already relaxed.

As for me, I loved Marlee's idea of a two day get away.  It sounds perfect for me too.

God Bless!

I just want a vacation. Somewhere warm. Somewhere where I can TRULY relax!
