I use Diclofenac cream! It's awesome. I rub it on the affected areas and within a day, the pain is much less.

I was on this for a short time and it caused stomach pain, but I like the flector patches and they don't bother me at all. Hope it helps you.

My husband and I have both taken Diclofenac, as it was explained to us it is like Asprin on steroids, a very strong NSAID. It can cause stomach problems, as well as liver and kidneys. Only take the directed amount and try to take with food, non-greasy food is best and so are carbs. It helps tremendously with arthritic pain and you can take Tylenol with it though I'm not sure what other meds you're on so you'd want to check with your doc or pharmasist. I found this at webmd.com http://www.webmd.com/drugs/search.aspx?stype=drug&source=1&query=diclofenac
I hope it helps.

I've taken it for a year or so. I have not had any stomach problems but I do take with food and only take one 75mg tablet a day. I have arthritis and fibro and I think it helps both. I do have blood tests every 4 or 5 months to check liver and kidneys.
