Does anyone else have a foot that occasionally (like every few minutes) kind of "forgets" to flex when you're walking?  It scares me because my Dad died from Lou Gehrig's Disease and I know this can be a symptom of that.  Just wondered if it's a normal Fibro thing.

Hi Debbie, I had foot drop to the point where my right foot actually dragged when I walked.
It was due to impinged nerve problems. I have degenerative disc disease and had been
plagued by Sciatica off and on for years. I had chiropractic care almost daily for a year,
then physical therapy and when my foot started dragging I was referred to a neurosurgeren and he performed a lumbar laminectomy. I no longer have foot drop but
still occasionally deal with Sciatica.

Debbie, let your doctor know of this symptom. Seeing a neurologist will ease your mind,
so you aren't worrying,

Sorry about your Dad. My father-in law also died from Lou Gehrig's disease. It is a
horrible disease!

It can be a symptom of Lyme Disease. Learn about the best ways to rule out Lyme, unfortunately, it's not just a simple test.

Good Luck.
