Thursday night we met with friends and before I knew what happened we had planned a party for Easter night, at our house. 2 days of crazy cleaning-vac, mop, wipe, carry etc. Then cooking for 14 people. Saturday I was talking to one of my neighbors who was going to cook the meat and we decided to eat at her house because her table was big enough for all. Our table wasn't, thank goodness. So, we had drinks and snacks at my very clean house and then we carried all the food I had made next door to eat. We had a great time.

I guess I just wanted everyone with FM, especially the newly dx'd, to know that life can go on. Sure I feel sore today and a headache is starting but I had so much fun. And today, I rest in my clean house, playing games on the computer, doing suduko. I haven't entertained like this in years but now I know that I CAN do it.

Have a great and pain free day.

You are so right about life can still be fun!!! Getting together with family or friends is always a
good time and worth the effort to prepare a meal or clean the house. Let's party!!!

I'm glad you had fun!

The secret to fun times is to not tell the Fibro that you're gonna do it... I've also found that taking preventative aspirin while I'm cleaning or going on that long ride in the car can sort of head the pain off at the pass before it can take over my life.

Glad you had a great time and now you have a clean house, too!
