This has got to be worse than chomping into the stryofoam bunnie that I thought was a marshmallow Peep.  A friend called me this morning and wanted me to meet her at the mall.  I love malls...NOT.  But I agreed to go.  Took a shower, washed and dried my hair, got dressed.  Walked into the kitchen and sprayed my entire head with Pledge.  Why?  I do not know what possessed me to do this...the Pledge was on the counter and looked like a hairspray can.  Duh.  You might think that the worse thing that can happen from doing this is you might smell lemony fresh.  No.  It got very stiff and I wore a helmet-do through the mall.  I had to come home and rewash my hair.  I hate it when that happens.  smhair

Donna, That's funny! Do you normally keep your hairspray in the kitchen? I guess I am trying to figure out why you went into the kitchen to hairspray your hair!!! hahaha

Sue...that's what makes it scary! I DO NOT keep hairspray in the kitchen!  I just saw the can, picked it up and started spraying!
Brother, I don't take any drugs for this condition except Advil, but maybe I should.

Wow, for those who really want a 'firm hold' type of hairspray and a lovely scent too, this may be the newest trend! You GO girlfriend!...lol I have no room to talk so please don't think I'm laughing AT you. I am constantly doing strange things while in the kitchen...looking for things in the dishwasher that belong in the refrigerator, trying to find the milk in the cupboard that had baking supplies, you all know what I mean. I try to fumble over these mistakes with ease but now and then I get caught in the act. I do laugh it off but I must confess on the inside it hurts. When no one is home but me I've had a few good cries over this type of problem. So it is reassuring to hear others enjoy wearing hair spray in their arm pits!

As they said above - it's a good tip for a firm hold :) In all reality I've done sooo many things lately that I say to myself - what would posess me to do that? Too many to even name - but my favorite has been my constantly going into a room and completely forgetting what I went there for only to return down the steps and get back on my heating pad and remember what it was - to have to walk back upstairs....and forget again. I'm only 26 here! At least it makes my mom feel better about being forgetful :) It definitely takes some getting used to that's for sure...

Donna, that's a funny one! A couple of times I've sprayed the vegetables with Windex instead of Veggie Wash . . . luckily I noticed they felt weird and got it all off in time. If I used hairspray we'd all be in trouble.....

Lol..that was great. I am really relieved that I am not alone. My kids watch me like a hawk now because of all the wierd things I do. Last friday I went for a walk to the pharmacy which is only about 4 blocks away and I had some prescriptions to pick up. I stopped at the park and rested for awhile enjoying the nice day, when a friend of mine pulls up and says the kids sent her to come get me cuz they were sure I must of been lost! I am only 41 yrs old and they treat me like I'm 80 cuz of this dang fog...gotta love em for looking out for Mom though!

I have sprayed my hair with deodorant and have sprayed my under arms with hairspray.  That's so much fun!  I did that several times so I switched to solid deodorant to prevent myself from doing that again.

Donna, that's too funny.  So far, the worst for me was going to fill my water glass and it wasn't there so I thought my Husband put it in the dishwasher.  When I went to take out another glass to used, there's my half full glass of water sitting there and it happened to be the one I chose to take (without looking) so of course, it startled me because it was full of water and I ended up spilling some of it one me.  When ever my Husband or I misplace things now we say things like "Did you check the cupboard or the oven?  BUT, I like your story better.  I know it's frustrating for you but you just made alot of people feel happy.

Donna, you are a riot. I sometimes use mousse on my hair. I also have a body lotion that's a mousse. You guessed it. One can is black and one is lilac, but that didn't help. The worst part--I didn't realize I had put lotion on my hair until I was getting ready for bed that night. The lotion also has a little glitter in it. I'm sure my hair looked great that day. Diane
