I have had a red blotchy rash on the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet for as long as I can remember. It doesn't hurt, itch or burn so I never was really concerned about it. Recently I started experiencing bad leg cramps at night that are so painful they wake me up and I can't go back to sleep. My doc said it was RLS and gave me bacoflen, about 2 or 3 days ago I started getting cramps in my arms, hands and feet as well. Just assumed I was flaring. Now today the rash is alot redder then ever and now the tips of my fingers and toes are dark red and swollen past the back of my nails. If I push on it it turns white and takes several seconds to get red again. Any idea if this could be fibro related? I have read somewhere that people with fibro can have skin problems and rashes but I don't think it was specific. I would appreciate any input. Thanks you!

I would definitely talk to your doctor about this. It could be something serious. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Good luck.

I just got back from my doctors and she took 5 vials of blood to check for numerous things, some I have already been checked for but it's been about a year. She's checking my sed rate? I have no idea what that is. She's checking for RA, lupus again and a bunch of other things that I can't remember. I am also going in next week to have the blood flow in my legs checked to see if I need stints. She wanted to send me to a rheaumotologist (SP?) but the 2 we have close to us are not taking new patients and I don't have a car that will get me to any other ones right now. I really need to take notes when I see her because by the time I get home I forget most of what she says. Thanks Sassy for your concern.
