My rheumatologist has now diagnosed me with Fibro.  She used words like" it seems"..."it is behaving like"... and "it sounds like"....  She gave me some suggestions as to how to help with the pain and acheness without meds.  She said that it seemed like I was searching for something.  Maybe this is what I was searching for.  Now I definately have a name for it and it will not defeat me nono .   I will lose the weight and work with my diet to help me along.  I NEED to be active and start with the daily exercise.  I need to do this!  I just need to readjust my schedule to accomodate this new way of life.  I joined Weight Watchers to help me.  I need the support and encouragement from my family and people around me.  Thanks!  I am sure that I will have ups and downs.  Sorry this is so wordy.  Just need to get it down!

Lisa, you have the right attitude! A positive attitude does go a long way in helping you deal
with anything. Now that you know what you are dealing with, you can focus on what you can do
to help yourself feel better. Taking one day at a time helps me along with this forum.

Lisa, you now can move forward with your life.  Before, it was like you were in limbo.  Now you know what you are dealing with and if you face it head on with a positive outlook, you will do far better.  We are here to help you.  There is a lot of good info on the forum and in all of the threads.  You will learn a lot.
I've said a million times that I walk as my main exercise.  I start out by walking my dog in the morning.  I live in Florida and in the summer I have to get up extra early to walk her...like when the sun is just starting to come up.  It gets hot in a hurry and my dog is double-coated so she gets overheated if I wait longer.  I didn't think I could get out of bed and walk her but, where there is a will, there is a way.  That's what I do now...walk her as soon as I get up and then go have breakfast and start my morning.  And you know what?  It makes me feel good!  It gives me energy in the morning that I never used to have.  I was a slow poke in the morning, but not when I walk my dog first.  So, you CAN fit that into your schedule.  You will be surprised how weight will start to fall because you are kicking in  your metabolism first thing in the morning.
Let us know how things go for you.  We really do care.
