I know I'm not alone in this. We all have this decision to make daily.

Every morning I wake up I'm hurting. I know I can get ready to suffer the day away or
decide what i'm going to do to help make myself feel better. There are days when I
want to give in and have and other days where I won't let this DD take me down.

I'm all for a pity party once in awhile, it reminds me I'm human. Some of my own
suffering, I think is brought on by my own thinking. I'm not saying it is all in my head,
but I do know that my emotional health plays a big part of my physical health.
Knowing this I try to reflect on what I'm feeling emotionally and do alot of self talk.
I think we are our own best cheerleaders and it certainly helps when we have the
support of others. It sure takes alot of work to feel good!

I know we are in this together. Wishing you all good thoughts and good days!

Thank you!!! You are right, there are days when we mourn our DD and that is okay. But there are days we push through it and that is okay too. I guess that we need to embrace it and do the best we can. One day at a time.

Great post.  I totally agree that emotional health plays a part in physical health.  All we can do is what we can do.  I always try to remind myself how strong us fibromites have to be.  Yes, we are all in this together, which is comforting.  Soft hugs!

Same to you, Robin. Good thoughts! I really do believe thoughts and/or prayers can make a difference. Don't ask me HOW, I just feel that they can, for ourselves and for others.

Every day is a new bunch of challenges, a new territory to navigate. A balancing act. Oh, to just BE again, without having to be so careful all the time!!
