I thought shakiness was a sympton of fibro,  but I don't see it listed on fibro 101.  so just asking if anyone else has hands that shake/tremble.  and I had the shakiness before starting cymbalta although I believe it is getting worse, and one hand is always worse than the other one.  makes for some interesting eating sometimes in public.

A little shaky, yes. I used to think I could pinpoint it to when I was hungry, but not always. It's not like anyone else would notice, but it sure bugs me.

Yes, my daughter has had the tremors in her hands. Before she was diagnosed we kept bringing it up to the various doctors. She says she still has the tremors. What a complicated illness. Thank heavens for others with fibromyalgia who understand. We thought maybe it might have something to do with her blood sugars, but we were unable to make a definite connection there.....so, I think it is part of the fibro.

Hi,

I found and moved to the top a long list of Fibro Symptoms. This is a list compiled by a former member and it's very comprehensive.

BTW, I have jerky arms. Any time I'm sitting at the computer or trying to write with a pen my right arm will suddenly jerk outward, then relax and contract back. It drives me crazy since I have no idea when they're coming and it can really mess up what I'm working on.

Hope this helps!

I have had shaky hands since I was a teen.  It's not so bad that other people would notice.  Another person mentioned that they thought it might be worse when they were hungry, and that has always been the case with me.
I have noticed my son (age 15) with this same issue.  :(

Tremors can be a side effect of long term SSRI usage. Small trade off for the way my prozac helps my mind and my pain.
