Ugh, it happened again!
I don't get migraines often anymore, but when they come they're bad.  I should have been suspicious because I had a little too much energy this morning, busy making all kinds of plans in my head of what I would do today.  Then I'm cooking my eggs and everything starts looking blurry - oh no! - and then the zigzags, no mistaking them.  Popped a Midrin, ate breakfast, now the aura's gone and I'm waiting for the pain to begin.  Not what I had in mind for this beautiful Spring Friday. sad

Hi Achey, I'm sorry you are having a bad day now. I woke up with extra head pain today and am just trying to decide if I should call the doctor's office and arrange to get a shot. If I catch it before it's a full blown migraine, I can ususally get by with a shot of torodol and phenergan. If I wait too long I have to get something stronger. I have a headaches 24/7 so sometimes it's just the daily headache is at a higher pain level and not the start of a migraine as I don't always have the aura. I hope you don't get a really bad one this time. Maybe the midrin will stop it in it's tracks! Take care.
Gentle Hugs,
Shannon

Hey Achey.  Sorry you're dealing with a Migraine.  I watched my Mother suffer with them for years.  I hope you feel better fast!  Soft hugs.

Thanks, guys. I actually seem to have lucked out this time, just a mild ache with general extra-spaciness. Not bad! Took the Midrin immediately, maybe that's why.

Shannon, I'm so sorry you have constant headaches! My brother does too, but his started after he was in a bad accident, and it's ruined his life to a large degree. He's tried everything, they still haven't pinpointed anything with MRIs or exrays. I can't imagine having what you describe.
