I was looking up reasons for chest pain and came across this. It is inflamation of the ribcage. I read that some people with FM can get it. I go see the Dr. next Friday cause I am having so much pain in my ribs, chest and back.
I struggle with FM,Raynauds Syndrome, gastroparesis, IBS and depression. I trust in God with all things. Been a tough journey and it's not getting any easier but thanks to God and my family I am not alone.

That sounds so much like costochondritis (sp) but I wonder if tietze is a part of it. I sure do hope that you feel better soon.

Please do let us know what the doctor says. Take care, keep posting.

I was having this pain again the other night. It was sharp stabbing not the prolonged aching I am used to. It was scary, but I know a lot of people with fibro get this. I'm glad my doctor gave the ok on some heart monitoring so I would know that it's not dangerous.
