So the Neurologist said my legs were fine which is where i get most of my twitching and cramps. But couldnt give me an answer on my arms until Monday. What does that mean. He did mention Carpal Tunnel. Has anyone her had an Emg?

I did for my carpal tunnel. They didn't give me an answer right away either. The Emg was a funny feeling!

I had 2 EMGs---They're easy--Mine showed some "radiculopathy"...of my lumbar spine!

Neuro said...it's common in people my age---(59)- smurf like an "arthritis"--

I had a Single Fiber EMG and a regular EMG many years ago when I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. From what I remember, the Single Fiber EMG was more painful because it took longer than the regular EMG. But it wasn't anything that I couldn't tolerate.

I hope the results will give you some idea as to what is going on. One of the hardest things to deal with is not knowing why you feel the way you do.

Blessings,
Shari
