Happy Sunday to all~~

I do hope your day is going well and everyone is feeling better today than yesterday. Today's Koffee Klatch is a general question. Feel free to answer in a way that makes sense to you.

Do you look more like your mother or your father? This can be your opinion or what others tell you. No one here can question you so time to tell all. Do you have more of your father's features or your mothers?

I was adopted at birth so that makes this an interesting questions. If you are in this type of situation feel free to answer anyway you feel comfortable. But, I did have a chance to meet both my birth parents and, sad to say, I look more like my birth mother than anyone else. I do have a few features that my full blood brother has butt there's no doubt I'm part of this family by blood...but that's where it ends. My dad and I used to have so much fun laughing when people would say how much I looked like him. He would wink at me and I would grin and giggle back. My coloring was more like Dads' and my brother's coloring and features were more like our mothers' even though we had no blood between us.

One thing I did find out is that family features often skip a generation. My youngest son looks so much like pictures of my 1/2 brother when he was young you can barely tell the pictures apart.

So who in your family do you most resemble?

I have got brown hair and brown eyes like my mother but I favor my dad more.
I struggle with FM,Raynauds Syndrome, gastroparesis, IBS and depression. I trust in God with all things. Been a tough journey and it's not getting any easier but thanks to God and my family I am not alone.

I guess I'm a mix of both my parents although many people said I look like my Dad.
He was tall, lanky had large deep set eyes and high cheek bones. That would describe
me.  I have my Mom's eye color and freckles.

It's funny that my sisters and I all look totally differant but when we are out to lunch,
the waitress will comment that we must be sisters because of the resemblance. We
don't see it at all, but we do have similar facial expressions and gestures...strange.

I look exactly like my Mom and everyone has always said so but the strange thing is I have a great Aunt on my Father's side that I look just like too.

I have dark hair and brown eyes, and I am short like my my mom. I have my dad's light skin, and I think that I also inherited his foot problems!

I have a lot of both parents in me. My father had big round blue eyes and curly dark hair. My mother has big almond shaped blue-green eyes and wavy red hair. My father had a darker complexion, and he would tan. My mother is so fair w/ freckles, she used to burn out in the sun for 10 min. I have curly, wavy hair, used to be auburn, now white (like my mother). I have big, almond-shaped blue eyes. My skin is very fair w/ freckles and I BURN. I have my father's lips and smile, but my mother's teeth.

When all my sibs and I are together, you know we are related. The funny thing is all my nieces, each sib has 1 daughter, looks like me, not their parent.

I look a lot like my mother, especially since we have gotten older. That makes me happy, since she is one of my favorite ppl in the whole world.

God bless.  Alice.

I'm built very much like my mom was.  In facial features I look a lot more like my dad, and I sunburn like him too (only worse.)  I'm the only redhead.  But people say I remind them of my mom and my daughters both (and none of us really look alike) - I think it's like you said, Robin, the gestures and expressions, and maybe the way we talk, must be similar.  That's what other people seem to see, the generalities, not the differences that we do.
