So...I also have a "support group" of friends with fibro on twitter, and a couple of them have shared this idea with me, so I'm sharing it with you all as well. A few have them have tried drinking coconut water regularly, and due to its high level of potassium and electrolytes, it has helped them with their fibro pain. You have to have a serving every day for a couple of weeks, but after that, they noticed a difference. One even says that when she is in pain, and the pain is below a 5, she'll drink that, and it'll help. I personally, just bought some at Whole Foods. It tastes delicious, and not that much like coconut. If you do decide to try it though, make sure you get the pure stuff, nothing with added sugars or anything else. I'll post again about my results with it, but if any of you want to try something new that isn't a medication, I say, go for it!

I have tried the coconut water but not on a regular basis.  I am going to get some more and try it everyday for a few weeks.  Thanks for the tip!

You have to take a serving every day, that's when it works the best.

And yes Karen, I got it at Whole Foods. I did see some at the Walmart here, but it was a bit more expensive. I have a friend who also gets her's off Amazon. Just remember to get the pure stuff, nothing with added sugar or flavors.

And you're welcome for the tip! I hope it helps you both as well!

Welcome to the forum gremom! You will love it here! There are such great people!

I'm not sure what department it's found in, as I don't know my way around the store, but I asked an associate and they knew exactly. Just ask. And I def recommend trying it! :)
