What’s the next planned event you're looking to in your life? Obviously this is supposed to be something fun or good that will be coming up before long. Are you taking a vacation? What about a wedding or the birth of a child in your family? Maybe you are planning a back yard BBQ with friends of a date with someone you love for dinner and a movie.

This one is hard for me because right now my head is pretty foggy. I was looking forward to camping this coming weekend but hubby decided he wasn't up for it. So... I'll have to wait and see what the rest of you have to say. Then I'm sure something will pop back into my head and the fog will clear a bit... shocked tongue

What fun thing is coming up in your life?

My family and I plan to go on vacation for 1 week sometime in late July or early August. We are going to Denver, Colorado
to visit my step-daughter and her family. She is planning all sorts of attractions for us to take in, including Rocky Mountain National Park, Pike's Peak, and a tour of all of the attracitons in the city, including the Amusement Park, and the Denver Mint.

I'm looking forward to having my daughter home for the summer. This is the last summer before she goes to college, so I plan to make the most of it. :-)

We are headed to the beach to visit my brother and his wife. We are going next weekend and then we will go in July, August and September. It is nice to be able to go almost whenever we want as we are only a few hours from us and a free stay at the beach is also great! My parents will be moving close to us this summer and my husband and I will (hopefully) go away for our birthdays in August. So parents will be able to watch my crazy kids.

We are having 2 family reunions here at the house on consecutive weekends.  The first one will have about 100 people, 2 that I know of sleeping IN the house & staying for the week and who knows how many camping in the yard.  Keep in mind that the yard is about 4 acres, who knows some might want to camp up on the hayfield.  The second is much smaller.  Both are hubbies family and I will not hesitate to ask for help, I will not hesitate, I will not hesitate.  Gotta keep reminding myself as I am so used to doing it all and not asking for help.  It should be fun.  I gotta buy a cheapie pool, hubby sliced the lining instead of waiting for it to drain last fall (wasteful man).  The replacement hottub (from the winter power outage) should be here within the week.  We will have pony and horse rides, hayrides, and bonfires.  I am looking forward to it.

Steppingstone, I am going to Colorado to visit too and can't wait! That is where I am from, I have only been in Nebraska a little over a year and I really want to go home. I don't like it here, and I miss the mountains so much. Colorado is beautiful! Financially I can't move back right now, medical reasons too. I have such a wonderful doctor here that I cringe at having to find a new one. Well, I hope you enjoy yourself on your vacation, I'm jealous...lol
Gentle Hugs,

We're also flying to Wisconsin in August for a family wedding (my husband's nephew.) I'm not really looking forward to it that much, though....wish there was something in the near future that I could get excited about! Family relations on both sides has been disappointing in the last few years, sad to say. :(
