I decided to blast away those 'helicopter thingys' that fall from maple trees off the driveway with this hose the hubby bought.  It has several nozzles and supposedly has the power to powerwash as well as ' drench the  most delicate flowers with a gentle spray'.  I dragged it to the driveway, turned it on...BLAMMO!  Had it facing the wrong way and it blew my glasses across the yard.  *&^%$ Owie also.  I don't even want to look at my face.
This is what I mean about technology.  Don't 'get it'...don't want to.

Oh Donna!

That must have been a surprise to have it hit you in the face. I hope that you are okay and I am glad that your glasses didn't break.

This sounds like something that I would do.

Oh Donna, that is too scary! I hope you didn't hurt yourself. I don't trust myself using a
power washer, I'd have my toes gone in less than a minute!!! Please be careful my friend!

I used a powerwasher on my deck a couple of weeks ago. I got blisters on my foot and my hand, from hitting them with the water. Diane

Oh Donna, my friend! What are you doing to yourself! On the bright side, I wonder if it's good for "power blasting" facial lines? Or, how about water lipo? You know I'm joking with you. I sincerely hope you are okay. Just tried to make you smile and hopefully, it doesn't hurt!

I'm going to install Nanny Cams both inside and outside my house...submit just one or two of the stupid things I do over the course of a week to America's Funniest Home Video's.  This one would have been a $10,000 winner.  Remember the one where the woman got stuck in the dishwasher?  Ten thousand big ones.  That could have been me without even trying!

Miriam...if ONLY it would blast away the wrinkles...

I trust you didn't have it set to the "gentle" spray? :)

Donna, this sounds just like something that I would have done! Only I wouldn't have been able to have seen well enough to have found my glasses!

I leave all that power equipment work to hubby. I'd have probably done worse than you did. :)

I'm okay...thanks for asking.  I have a small scratch on my glasses but that's it.  If I hadn't had them propped up over that bone behind my ear (that has been hurting lately from the pressure of the bow) they probably wouldn't have been blown off my face.  Lesson learned.  Let the stupid helicopter thingys on the driveway for the wind to blow away...and always look at the angle the nozzle is pointed.  Or...let the hubby do it.  Yup.

Those high pressure hoses hurt, don't they. I used one to clean the fingers on my pool filter and ended up taking the skin
off my leg.....oops, I missed. Hope you're ok.
