Back of pelvic area pain with pressure

Hi everyone

I'm in the process of being diagnosed(and going nuts with symptoms). I saw my regular GP today and he drew loads of blood for everything under the sun. He suspects I have fibro so he referred me to a rheumatologist.
Quick question:
Whenever someone(massage therapist for example) presses on the back of my pelvic area near buttocks, I have severe pain. No one can press there. I always have to tell the massage therapist NOT to press on that area. Is that common? Just wondering.

I would go back to your DR and tell him or her to refer you to a Chiropractor a good one.

I agree. I have had this problem off and on for years, and it seems as if I always get some temproary relief from chiropractic adjustments.
