Hi everyone,

I've had itchy ears for several months. I don't seem to make ear wax.....so its not that. I do know that when I eat some dairy products, my chin and neck itch. But recently, I'm itching all over. I get this itchiness all over..........ear lobes, fingers, arms, legs, ankles, chest..........
I haven't changed soaps or anything I eat or medicine I take.
It feels like my neuro system is causing this. I'm increasing my B vitamins, including methylcolbalamin sublingual tabs, hoping that will help.
Anyone else have this? I can't take anything like Claritin, because it makes me too tired......and I'm tired enough as it is.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

There are other allergy medications that don't make you tired, or try taking the clariton at night. Hopefully you will feel not so tired in the morning. I take singulair and it doesn't make me tired.

I hope that you find out what it causing it. Do you use lotion? Maybe your skin is dry.

Best wishes,

Hugs, Karen

about a year ago I had a small patch on the palm of my hand. then it started to get bigger and soon it started on the palm of my other hand. Then my ears started itching. That was the final straw it was driving me crazy i went in and the dr. said it is a form excema or psorisis (cant remember fibro fog lol) Well now it has spread to the tops and ankles of both of my feet. The doctor gave me a cream to use but I have found that hydrocortisone cream seems to work just as well. I dont know if that is what is going on with you but you might want to get it checked out. Take care Shirley

I have a rash in the palm of my hand too. It is close to my wrist though. I am picking some ointment up for it on Monday. It itches too. I have had it since December. It is time for it to go.

Does anybody's scalp ever itch???

Mine does sometimes but lately it has been closer to the bottom of my hairline. Im thinking it might be more of this excema or whatever spreading onto my neck now. I sure hope the cream works for you

Hello CathyA,
I can relate to you with the itchy ears. For me it is part of the whole Fibro thing. I have to watch what I wash my clothes in, Soap is a big no no I can only use Dove brands on heigine products. Anything else and I come out in a rash. My shampoo is a different brand but that is the only one I can use or me scalp drives me crazy. I have psoriasis as well and the cream I use for that does help with some of the itch from my allergies. So a lot of my itching I can control to some level by what I use and eat. I have a daughter who is allergic to some food groups.
See your doctor is may be something simple.

Kathy

Thanks everyone.
I don't have a rash. I think my neuro system is just screwy. Sometimes I get these jabs that feel like a needle going in me.
My itching is a little better now. I use ivory soap, but maybe I don't get it rinsed off well enough, or maybe I should double-rinse my clothes? We are on a well and have alot of iron in the water, and then salt from the softener.
I'm going through a funk lately I guess........alot of nausea, weird headaches, endless appetite, fatigue. I'm the only one I know who can eat when she has an upset stomach!
I was doing really well until I got a really bad cold in January, then it all went downhill again. Even my cpap numbers suddenly got bad.
I'm almost feeling like my sertraline (zoloft) has quit working.
Sometimes I just get a month or 2 of funkiness, and then it goes away. So I'll just wait and hope that that happens.
Thanks again.
