Ok I thought with all these test that RA was not one I would be positive for, but I am. cry
I'm waiting on other test, ANA.

I was ready to hear Lupus, Fibro or even MS, not RA.  Crying and scared because that one I didn't research thinking naw the pain moves around, its in muscles very rarely in the joint area. I'm only 38.  Geesh when I was 19 that sounded old. shakehead

Any advice would be appreciated, now I have this really stupid headache.

Kellie. I have RA and RA is treatable. Yes, you will have flares but the way I look at it, Fibro
hurts, Lupus hurts and all the others hurt too. The main thing is getting your symptoms
treated. Living with it is just like Fibro , one day at a time. I take Methotrexate and it helps.
Exercise is important too. You will do ok. It does take awhile to accept a chronic illness but
believe me it does get easier after you just accept it. Try to relax because the stress will
cause you more pain.

Kellie, I am truly sorry that you are going through this because I know it isn't easy. I just
want you to know if you do get a confirmed dx, you will be able to handle it. Remember we
are all stronger than we think!

At least I'm on the right road, don't know much but will learn. Have so many questions for the doctor but will wait for all the test results.

I'm better now, wait till I'm on bed and my mind will be going a million times a minute, lol. My husband who is tad bit older than I am, goes why are you crying??? You thought RA was an old person disease, that made me laugh. He found out he had arthritis in his shoulder a month ago. lol

I'm gonna look for supplements and diets for this, gonna quit smoking tomorrow so would appreciate any prayers, that holds such a strong bond on a person.

Kellie,
I also have RA and have since I was 7, nearly 50 years now. It started in my feet and has taken over most of my body.
People say it's because of the weight but it was real bad when I was 110 lbs. It does move around sometimes striking the
upper torso, sometimes the lower. The susceptability to weather fronts from it is severe depending on the ferocity of the front.
With me even a hurricane in the lower states bothers me here in upper NY. I do Bromelain which is pineapple enzymes for
an anti-inflammatory and back it up with Bio-Sil to rebuild the collogen in the joints and Super Cissus RX to help with the
damage to the muscles and tendons. I also have sciatica which I find the combo by NOW of Magnesium/Calcium/Vit D and Zinc helps
out a lot. I've gotten away from dr drugs and only use Darvacet and Skelaxin when I can't control it with the herbs. I was on dr
drugs for about 25 years and finally said enough and went herbal especially after the side effects of the man-made ones got
worse and worse. You will find RA is hereditary. My Dad had it when he was 7, my nephew was 2 and another early teens and my
grandaughter was 9 and the 5 year old grandaughter is showing signs of it too.
I hope you find relief from it as it can hurt like heck.

Kellie, I'm sorry about that but as others have said, there are things out there to help you.  Pain is pain.  You will find what helps you control your pain and live a full and enjoyable life with this.

Nana so printing out your reply, thanks..

Researching a positive RA could have other causes. Shouldn't have done that but I believe knowledge is power, so I will wait for the ANA results and I would guess they will refer me to a rheummy doctor....

Take it one day at a time, what ever it is I am thankful for the friends that I have made here it helps alot.

Kellie,
Sometimes it's hard to move but I'll pass on words of wisdom from my Grandma when she was told she would never
walk again...."You watch me." She had water on the brain and they thought it was Parkinson's as she was falling all the
time. That lady got up and kicked butt and drove her car from Fla to NY until she died. I want to be like that. I've found
that by getting in tune with your body it helps to conquer a lot. It will send signals when something's wrong, and then
you know how to act upon it.

Nana,
Thanks so much and your grandma must have been an awesome lady, that is the outlook to have.

Here's my crazy thought from where I was this winter to now, I am better in some ways. At least I'm not laying around and napping. I really thought it was serious back then never been so sick that long here i am 6 months later. I wake up each morning thankful for the day God has given me and try to enjoy the best I can with 4 children, lol.

You all know pain, I'm a newbie to this, I have learned to ignore it and take ibpro. when needed.

The best thing I can see out of this, is before I was a very active person not sitting, constantly on the move. I have to rest in the evenings now and I get to spend time with my children/husband...:o)
