Good Morning all.  Just wanted to give an update on my Dad. I had posted earlier in the week that he had knee replacement and wasn't doing too good.  Well, yesterday evening he took a horrible turn.  They had to rush him to another hospital.  He has pneumonia.  He is on a ventilator and sedated but has been responding some.  My family really needs your prayers right now.  Please remember us.  I hope you all are well and thanks again Fibro family for your support.

Oh Libby,

How terrible. Hopefully, the ventilator and sedation will start to bring some relief for him. I was just thinking about your dad before I came on. Of course I will continue to pray for him, you, and your family. I know it is hard when someone you love is so sick, but pls try to stay as calm as you can. I know it's hard, believe me. I just hate to see you get sick, too.

Pls keep us updated, we are all w/ you!!

God bless.  Alice.

I'm so very sorry you have to deal with this, Libby. My mom was sedated and on a ventilator too and it is hard to watch. I wish I had talked to her more when she was there. She wasn't very responsive at all so we didn't think of it, but they say people can still hear even if they can't respond. I will pray for you and your family.

I just prayed for your Dad, Libby.  That has to be frightening but it's good that he is responding a little.  My friend's father had the same problem but finally healed and went on as normal.  Hopefully you will see even better response from him in the next couple of days.  You and your father are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will pray for dad and your family........

whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my Name, I am there with them’ (Matthew 18:19, 20).

Libby, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad.  I too had double knee replacement and did great but I know just a little bit about what he's going through.  You and your dad are in my thoughts and prayers.  Keep us informed on his status.

God Bless!
