How true indeed. If only they told us the second part!
   Fibromyalgia, possible Meniere's, elevated liver enzymes, skin grafting on back, arthritis, scoliosis, lumbar disc damage, sciatica, IBS, migraine headaches, tachycardia, skin cancer surgeries on face
    Nortriptyline, Clonazepam, Darvocet as needed
    Multivitamins, l-lysine, probiotics, magnesium, malic acid, calcium + vit. D, vit. C
    Chiropractic adjustments
 
This too shall pass....

and at least for me, that is where the problem lies...they do not tell us and the years go by and suddenly, you have this laundry list of medications you are taking that cause worsening of depression, drug hangovers in the morning, significant weight gain and on and on. I know, I'm on my soapbox again and I don't mean to offend or hurt anyone. I really am trying to help others. I've been in some dark hole for the past 22 years, or at least 15 years and I am suddenly waking up and realizing all this.

This just happened to me last week new med and med to help with conspition

LOL...oh, that is sooooo true!!
Conditions: Fibromyalgia, Severe Myofascial Pain, Chronic Pelvic Pain (with permanent muscle damage), Femoroacetabular Impingement (CAM and Pincer), Reynauds, IBS, Surgical Adhesions, Ophthalmic Migraines, Severe Hot Flashes (both Surgical Menopause and medication related), plus physically unable to vomit due to the Nissen, and I have extremely tiny veins with a lot of scar tissue...a joy when it comes to having to give blood or get an IV started

Surgeries: Appendix, Uterus, Nissen Fundoplication for GERD, Left Ovary, Gallbladder, Right Ovary, TVT

Medications: Oxycontin, Cesamet, Tramacet, Cymbalta, Flexeril and Clonidine plus Laxaday, Vitamin D and a Multi-Vitamin daily

Sad...but true in too many cases. We are willing to try what is out there looking for
relief and before we know it another med is added to our list. Still praying for a cure!

Prescription Meds: Savella, Cyclobenzaprine, Methotrexate, Diltiazem, Boniva,
Folic Acid.  OTC Meds: Multi-vitamin. Vit, D, Vitamin B12 & calciim supplements
