In our first serious relationship, what was your chosen song? Why?

I was in a long distance relationship and we were always just "so excited" to see each other when we could about once a month for a weekend. Anyhow, one day we were listening to the radio in the car and choose our song. Pointer Sisters song-I'm So Excited. We laughed and said that had to be our song because it describes us on how excited we were whenever we got to see each other

My DH and I love the song " Come With Me" by Waylon Jennings.  He asked me more than once to marry him and I kept turning him down because I had just come out of a 22 year marriage that was a nightmare.  He kept playing this song for me and it really had meaning.

I'm so glad that I finally accepted and came with him.  We've been married 23 years in October and they have been wonderful.

God Bless!

Desiree',

I love that song! That's one my husband used to play often. He would make CD's for me with wonderful tunes.

As far as the 'first' relationship goes...the EX???...lol we didn't have a song but if we had it should have been that old country western favorite...

"I Thought He Was Out Jogging, But He Was Running Around On Me"

Chutzie...<---who got the last laugh ;-)

Chutz, I thought your song was so funny and told my DH.  He said to tell everyone the love song that he sings to me is,  "If My Nose Was Made Of Money, I'd blow it all on you".  He's a hoot!!!!!!!

That's a good one, Shannon! :) I was hard put to come up with an "our" song, but at our wedding, we walked into the theme from "The Deer Hunter." We don't always have the same taste in music, but we can agree on Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt and the Beatles.
