I suffer from depression so I am already struggling. Today has been an especially tough day. I am STILL in pain, my oldest daughter moved back home and boyfriend broke up with her and she is depressed, my special needs daughter is mad at me cause I couldn't give her what she wanted and I feel cut off from my husband. Today is really a bad day. I talked to my orhtopediv dr. today about my knee. She said that it could be a meniscus tear. I could get an MRI, start physical thereapy or get a knee brace which I can't afford any of it. I am about to snap. Feeling real down today. Need prayers please.

Sheila, I'm so sorry that you are suffering. I do understand how pain can sometimes
be unrelenting, not letting up and giving you a break. I'm hoping when you meet with
your doctor he will be able to prescribe something that can give you relief.

Pain is also my constant companion and it very tiring. I think the longer you live with
it...this sounds crazy...but you do get accustomed to it. Keeping myself busy helps
distract from the pain.

I have been keeping you in my prayers, praying you get better sleep and pain relief.

Hugs, Robin

Hi Sheila,

Fibromyalgia and depression go hand in hand.  Together they go.  You barely see one without the other when you are suffering from fibromyaglia.  But you can over come this.  It isn't easy and takes a lot of work, but it can be done.  If the depression gets too bad, come on over to the depression forum.  There are a lot of understanding members there who can offer you some support.

I hope that you feel better soon.  Like I say, pop into the depression forum and get to know everybody.

Take life one day at a time.  Try not to dwell on the past, or worry about the future.  You will find out with fibro that is about all that any of us can do anyway.

Hugs, Karen
