What is your favorite sport to play?

I love to competetive swim. What can I say, I am a fish LOL! Anyhow, I'm better at strength in swimming, not speed LOL

Napping...lol At my age and body condition I'm not into what you would call sports besides beach walking. I could walk miles and have and it brings me such peace. As far as 'play' I prefer to play with fabric and cameras...lol

Sport? Sport?? are you kidding me?? but when I was younger I used to play HORSE with my husband on the basketball court. Thats about all I could handle.

Now my favorite sport is the television and watching the DIY shows. I love to see renovations in homes.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

I used to love to run, play tennis and golf, do rugged terrain hiking. Walking gives
me a lot of pleasure and I enjoy working in the yard, tending my flowers. Oh...and
there are days I can still play croquet!!!

Linda, I used to love playing HORSE with hubby too :)

LOL! Love that "typing on the computer"! Pam, sweety have you thought of pool therapy? It is just stretching in a nice hot heated pool. You don't want to over do it. I learned the hard way, I'm not a fish as much as I used to be LOL. My instructor told me to get out after being in the pool for 2 1/2 hours, and said I was overdoing it. Smaty pants, I had a flare up the next day. But if you for like you, maybe sit in a jacuzzi (spa) and start off with some arm and leg stretches sittingit might help. CHeck with your doctor first though hon.

I never had much of a competitive drive. I loved moving, though - walking, running, bikeriding, swimming, dancing, doing Yoga and Nautilus. I guess I was too spacey for sports - likely as not, I'd kick the soccer ball the wrong way. Then there was the time I stopped running because I thought the finish line was closer than it was (how to endear yourself to your high school coach)

Schutzhund which is a "sport" with my dogs.  I do get tired and out of breath and my neck is usually killing me on the way home but I love it.  I wish I had more energy to saddle up my horses and go for a nice long ride.  I need someone else here to get me going and hubby isn't that someone LOL.

I have been picking green beans out of the garden......First pick, no problem......second pick a week later, my back hurt.......third pick 3 days later, I could only do half  shocked   back was killing me.  These are pretty long rows and I didn't have any problem planting them, oh well......I will do what I can.  My flower beds aren't as glorious as they were in front of the house but I am getting perennials in a few at a time so I am not planting in the years to come.

I do have a cheapie blue (blow up top ring and that holds the water in) 3ft pool & a hot tub that homeowners paid top dollar for to replace the 5 year old not so nice old one smilewinkgrin .  We had a bad winter and lost power for 8 days and the fittings froze in the old one.

I guess I don't have to leave the house too often except for food and the many, many doctor's visits like on Monday, new thread for that question.

I used to love playing co-ed softball, but I had to quit the summer I was 8 months pregnant. Never really got back to it and that was 27 years ago. Diane

I used to run about 5 miles a day. I always wanted to do a marathon. Now with the knee issues I can hobble pretty quick. smilewinkgrin
